Marijuana is less harmful to society than is alcohol and causes less disease than does tobacco. The Federal Government and the majority of State governments make trillions in taxes from alcohol and tobacco sales yet refuse to legalize a less deadly drug. Hypocrites. Either make all illegal or all legal and stop putting people in jail for growing and using marijuana. Libertarians should support legalization as should moderates and liberals and the far right republicans that want big government to stay out of our lives should also support it.

Amen, time to end prohibition, the right tricked us into this one with their "Scheduled" Substances act, which meant they no longer had to vote for prohibition, they could do it any time they liked

I say legalize it. Instead of costs associated with incarcerating people, they'll be paying sales taxes on the stuff and everyone benefits from it.
