Less than half of Americans can name Canadas capital

evidently you don't understand that Canada WAS a colony long before it was a country. the official names of the colonies were Upper and Lower Canada! THE PEOPLE THAT LIVED IN THEM WERE CALLED ENGLISH AND FRENCH Canadians.

My serious point is that Americans are not dumb despite what you might think or imply. And in the English language, "theres" needs an apostrophe. Maybe it's another Canadianization such as "harbour" and "labour," or the gibberish that takes up at least half of a Canadian food container, and road signs in Quebec.

I'd say not knowing the American capital is most likely right up their alley as well. But that's not surprising given that Obama himself campaigned in 57 states and gets a little mixed up whether he's a Muslim or a Christian. [Maybe he meant the 57 Arab States?]
