Ending slavery was the positive that came out from the war. I am not minimizing it, but the negetive that resulted from the war was further concentration of power into the hands of the federal government.

Sorry, what immense suffering have most blacks living today been through that sadly hasn't been self imposed? Is AA not enough? He many scholarships should they get compared to other races? I don't think all the black people I work with are suffering any differently then anyone else. Ways the percentage of blacks to whites in say, football and basketball? Should I feel sorry for poor blacks who have 4 or 5 kids they can't afford? Hw about black women who have kids with a few different dads. Who's fault is all of that.

Jews did not dominate the slave trade, that is myth written by anti-semites and in fact less than 1/10th of 1 percent of the people who owned more than 50 slaves in the south were Jewish. BTW there is stories of Jews owning slaves but the fact that the vast majority of slaves were held by white Christians in the south those stories are few and far between. If you get your history lesson from the KKK you really should re-think your personal choices.

The idea of something being innately wrong about slavery is sheer stupidity....look at how sucessful China has become using slave labor......now we have to borrow money from them to keep our economy from collapsing....perhaps we could learn someting from China eh?

The simple reality is that industrial powers must have cheap labor..........there must be a division of labor for any society to work....meaning someone must be willing or forced to do the dirty work, to work the low paying jobs....we are not all equal...not everyone can live in the mansion on the hill. The democrats/liberals/socialist ran a very sucessful propaganda campaign to convince Negroes they were beautiful and the equal or even superior to whites....thus they no longer were willing to work the menial jobs they had traditionally performed to the great benefit of this society...instead they turned to depending on the government to take care of them, began to shoplift on a massive scale, got involved in drugs, and began to comitt horrendous violent crimes often citing it as a way to exact revenge on the evil White Racists aka Eldridge Cleaver......anyone remember him...famous for advocating rape of white women as a political weapon. The fact is blacks have made a 'sport' of raping white women for decades...a lot it even went on during the so called jim crow era...because the word got out....white women would not report it in most cases because they would be social outcasts if it were known they were raped by a negro.

Bottome Line we lost our traditional servant class due to the Federal Government enacting social polices that coddled negroes and made it possible for them to live without having to actually work for a living...thus generations of negroes now have grown up on welfare...and they lost what skills they had(a very skilled labor force at one time)and became parasites on society.

Thus began the great Mexican Invasion of America....we need people willing to work the jobs our Negroes would no longer take.....the Mexicans were more than glad to become our new servant class.

The OP is right. The plantation class, which was the rich, slave owning class, made up about 2% of the southern population. But, many of the middle class supported slavery. KInda like how many republican voters today are poor, but still support laws that hurt them and help the rich.

Black children are suffering due to decisions made by their parents. It is NOT white people's fault, nor our responsibility to fix it. Its black people as a whole who have not embraced what they should to make them more successful. Instead of looking up to guys like Bill Cosby, they look up to Jessie Jackson or some thug rapper.
