There's so much with the rights of the LGBT community; campaigns, marches, legislation etc.. So if people have rights, why do the LGBT's take the rights away from heterosexuals (assuming they do)? Do LGBT's think heterosexuals shouldn't have the right to not accept LGBT's? Just interested to know.
It’s not a matter of acceptance, rights are rights — they don’t need acceptance. Most gay people just want to be treated equally with the same rights and protections as any other citizen; which includes taxpayer services, contractural law, and in many cases public accommodation especially in necessary services. What rights specifically do you think are being taken from heterosexuals?
Homosexuality exists in nature so it is natural, by definition. Since it is not representative of the majority it is not fit the definition of normal. You are entitled to your own beliefs, however incorrect they may be but allowing people to have the same rights you do does not infringe on your beliefs anymore than allowing you to have rights infringes on others. So again, what rights do you believe are being taken away from heterosexuals?
Everyone has the right to believe whatever they wish. They do not have a right to prevent others from doing the same.
Nobody is preventing you from believing that (nobody could, even if they wanted to). Civil rights are about people's freedom despite what others might believe about them.
You just freely expressed your right to believe what you believe ... then you whine that you don't have the right to believe it? Whatever, dude.
No one has lost their job for believing homosexuality is not natural/normal. They’ve lost their jobs for trying to push those beliefs.
You are still free to have your own beliefs. You are confusing thought with action. I can post hundreds of articles where gay people are being executed because of their orientation.
