LGBT Bashing on a forum

I always wonder why there is so much bashing on any forum.

I mean why can't a forum about LGBT be nice and social and carefree and discuss clever topics, fashion, cute hair styles, etc ..

Why must it attract LGBT haters or those Polyannas that need derail and stir up bigotry and other bloody rot ?

It gets extremely tiresome, a bunch of Daleks constantly yelling Exterminate, against anyone they hate......

Why would you imagine that such themes (LG) would be magically free from criticism?

 

You know there are boards specific to LGBT that talk about that sort of thing.

Forum for LGBT Rights or issues as I prefer.

And this forum attracts more Gay haters than LGBT,
Rather than keeping it fun and informative, you constantly hear comments of how Gay anything is revolting.

Are you talking about Political Forum, or some others?

If you're talking about forums solely for, by, and about LGBT, I'd say it's a shame things are as you say.

If you're talking about here, it's probably because the subject of politics invites argument. At some point, it seems, argument often devolves into pissing contests.

I don't know what would be a clever topic, but I'm sure they have a forum. I bet there are fashion and hairstyle groups, too.

'hate' is the name we give things we don't like. it has no reality on its own. 'vitriole' is the name we give ideas (expressed as words) we don't agree with. expecting to not be 'bothered' by either, in an open public forum, is absurdly infantile.

I post to open public forums, because I do not want to live in an airless echo chamber.

 

It is like a dumb runty guy walking into a Lesbian bar and mouthing off and telling the women there how they are going to hell.
Then he gets beaten and kicked to the curb.

What is the point of going on an LGBT forum and telling folks how LGBT people make you revolted and sick to the stomach ????
