That would be a violation of law. And a violation of the House judiciary rules. Why am I not surprised? Because he's already shown contempt for the organization of Congress and our laws in threatening the AG.

 

As Rod Rosenstein has said, AG Barr's been as forthcoming as he can be. So we know that those who are anti-POTUS Trump will never be happy with the report.

I have actually not had that much to say about Barr’s behavior. I’ll wait for whatever he shares.

 

But if what goes to Congress contains a single redaction, it's not going to satisfy Nadler (nor should it) and the fight will be on...

The public will have to be satisfied with redactions (for now), which will likely make most of it unreadable... Alas...

 

I believe that Nadler has authority to review an unredacted version....but he needs to petition the courts to do so. He just can not demand it.

 

And if I were sitting on the Court, I'd never allow it. Through his subponea threat to the AG, it's clear Nadler intends to politicize grand jury material. Nadler's corrupt and malevolent intent should disqualify him from reviewing that information.

 

Why not, if he has the authority?? Why clog up the courts with something like that??

He should not have to demand it. Barr should not be playing these games and making idiotic statements about spying. Enough already.

Do you really think it is a good thing for a Congressman to be able to bypass law? And if there is any validity to illegal wiretapping, wouldn't you want to know? If there is nothing, it will go nowhere.

 

I would definitely like to know if there was illegal wiretapping on Trump or any other Americans however Barr’s suggestion that Trump was spied on without any evidence was bush league and irresponsible. In all other special council investigations unredacted copies of the report were turned over to congress. Barr is playing politics and acting like a Trump flunky at this point. Hopefully he will quit praying the fool and turn over the docs to Congress.

I was making fun of the op for bringing light to horrible “Liberal Dark Money” meeting.

The Republicans and their billionaire benefactors have been holding meetings like this annually for over three decades. Their agendas have produced great success for the GOP in the areas of Gerrymandering, voter suppression, propaganda seminars led by Frank Luntz to trick uneducated people into voting against their interests by using clever language and other ruses, all to help billionaires and tax dodging war profiteering scumbag corporations fatten up at the expense of hard working middle class Americans.

Now that finally some very rich people are using their money to combat these lying scumbags on the right, all of a sudden our OP is suggesting that they are somehow nefarious and shady. What a joke!

The GOP has been holding meetings like this for billionaire doners since the early days of Cheney, Rumsfeld and the boys back in the late ‘70s...lol

 

It exposes the ops post as a hypocritical one sided attack. I am not the one calling for a full investigation, he is. One of the things these “evil liberals” are working on is getting all of this money, dark or otherwise OUT of the political process. Until then, I am glad there is at least some well heeled opposition to the several GOP dark money think tanks and media control groups.
