When a woman suffers through this abusive relationship what is a common thing that happens?

When he hits me I am better off if I just take it, if I stand up I will only get it worse.

That is how liberals view the trade issue.

Yes they agree we are on the unfair end but if we stand up to it then we will just get harder so they want to cower and just accept it.

Trump says NO, hit me, and hit me again......and hit me again........I'm outta here you abuser.

Conservatives are like abused women because they enjoy their president waging trade wars that cause the price of their goods and services go up. They truly are masochists.

You really cheapen abuse for the creatures of your gender that get beat.

Liberals now seem to think tariffs (taxes between countries) are bad, while still holding onto the notion that taxes within a country are good.

But if one is to exercise even the most basic inkling of logical consistency, you can't have it both ways.

I didn't cheapen anything, I am trying to help liberals by showing them what's going on so they can get help.

WE are closer to wives getting beat by the next door neighbors husband. And, it is funny that most of the guys in the white house seem to be resigning as ABUSERS.

Let's all clap for Guy, he knows how to copy and paste although the fact that he thinks he needs to source definitions is questionable.

    He's a work in progress.

    You think?

Personally, I like being able to buy stuff at low prices because of trade. Why do you want to pay higher prices?

Like I said. You're the one who is OK paying higher prices for stuff. You're the "abused woman" here, played by an abusive boyfriend, and you don't even know it.

    Yes I am actually.

    Guess what?

While your ilk were busy sticking their lips on the asses of the British, our patriots were throwing their tea overboard even though we would have to pay more for it.

    And you folks sicken me.

You are like the kid giving his money to a bully every day because you don't want to get beat up.

    Just sad.

But please, explain to us why Japan can sell a car here and we give them...say 100 bucks to do so, we sell a car there and they charge us 100 bucks.

Whatever it is but tell us how that benefits us in any way whatsoever.

    Here is your reasoning:

"because they could make it so much worse for us".

You're confused again. You're the one who wants to pay more money to enrich your overlords.

    Get sick on yourself.

I'm a free market conservative, I'm in favor of the free movement of goods across country lines (but not people), but I understand why Trump is trying to punish China... China has been engaged in a 20 year campaign of corporate espionage war against us without us doing anything about it. Company in the town I used to live in was bought by a Chinese front company and then the books, machines, and stock were loaded up and shipped to China and the company shut down. Turned out the company made proximity fuzes for military applications and the Chinese stole the technology by buying the company. But the Chinese have not been punished for that or any of the hundreds of other thefts of corporate and military know-how they've carried out. Unfortunately, trade wars punish both sides, so I'm not sure tariffs are the best way to go.

The wife beating analogy is silly, on both sides.

"somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe" -- Obama's Energy Sec

Cap and Trade and other expensive environmental regulations...

endless demands and proposals to raise corporate (profit) taxes...

objections to right-to-work laws (pro-big labor protectionism)

endless demands and proposals to mandate the doubling of the wage floor....

these policy proposals presented by duplicitous commies magically have no influence on the price of goods and services (and employment statistics). magically.

I laid out my facts already which you can't dispute by the way.

    I've done my part.

All you can do is troll apparently.

Not sure what you mean. 155 million Americans are working at jobs.

But why are you trying to personalize it? All consumers benefit from lower prices because of trade.
