It really makes you go back to the beginning to examine the whole thing again. At some point, almost out of the blue, the US decides to single out Ghaddafi as a huge threat because he was attacking his own people. We go in under the proposed intention of liberating people, but it seems the only effects are the toppling of generally anti-US regimes, and, about a half a year later, the implosion of the state. Afghanistan...Iraq...tried to get into Iran...Libya...Lebanon...tried to get into Syria...Crimea...Whose next? Who else needs America's "help"? I understand these places were not great before the US, but certainly not the nightmare they are now. Instead of making things better, the pattern seems to suggest horrific destabilization.
