I think really what it comes down to is that Islam is in opposition to Christianity.

Muslims generally are homophobic, to the point where in their countries they will execute you for being gay I have a hard time believing that they would tolerate that out of Christians or Jews.

A Christian can even say that they won't bake a cake for your same sex wedding. Muslims can throw gay people off cliffs.

There is always a reason for a double standard.

It's kind of like gun control this isn't about what they're saying it's about. It's about you(you meaning general normal Americans). Your religion your rights to hold a gun, the movies and TV shows you enjoy. What you eat, what do you do for a living.

It's about you. That is what they are attacking.

Homophobia islamophobia xenophobia racism these are all words used to describe you. They even call you Nazis for praying.

They hate you they are at war with nobody but you. They will attack everything that they think is you.

It is a war against traditional American values, I got my theories on why but we can discuss that later if you like.

Well that analogy was to make Canada appear like the US and us like the poor little defenseless people of the middle East.

It's odd how people just don't know any history. If you mention the goodness of Christianity they immediately bring up the crusades, all fourteen separate wars faught really in defense of the damn near 600 crusades faught by the Islamic empire.

And then they talked about Christianity in enslaving black people for 300 years and then ending it, but neglect the 1400 years of Islamic enslavement a black people that continues today.

I've heard historians say that Islam what's the cause of the dark ages because during that time they controlled all the ports of Europe.

But they're no different than Christianity in Hindu Sikhs, or Buddhists or Jews.

I think it is a pretty fair assessment. I am definitely left leaning, but I do agree with the righty's on the question as to why some on the left go out of their way to insult and demean Christians, but when someone goes off on Muslim's, they jump up in their defense. Religion sucks. ALL Religion.

 

Some beliefs, religious or political, are good. Others not so good.

If we all followed the Golden Rule, one belief, the world might be a better place.

Al Qaeda was able to establish a foothold inside Syria because the US destabilized the Syrian government.

Al Qaeda is a problem only because the US made it one.

 

And yet, despite all that assistance, Al Qaeda hasn't shown any appreciation. Can you explain why they are so ungrateful? Have Muslims no manners?
