    Link.

    So, Boeing comes to Australia.

Great. Wellcamp is an international airport in Toowoomba west of Brisbane, Queensland. Lots of jobs added and more importantly, locally made military stuff if anyone gets angsty with us.

I am liking this AUKUS deal.

This is not part of AUKUS. If you look through your own link, you'll see a story announcing the project from back in February, 2019.

Looks like a couple hundred temporary construction jobs, with about 70 permanent ones.

Australia is committed to buying 3 of these drones.

Yeah! We are pulling so many Chinese teeth that we may have to start selling them dentures :p

It’s quite a big drone too - even our wedge tail eagles will be hard put to take one of those on!

The Australian Army according to a relative is putting a lot of incentives out there for innovation and apparently it is paying off big time

I disagree. This announcement has just come out.....after AUKUS was announced. There is a logical link.

It will be an on-going boost to the local/State economy and I welcome it. We need these sorts of investments.

Australia does not need to have the "ability to strike back" as they will never be attacked unless they start interfering in the far east. Don't fall into the US Foreign Policy trap.

Having said that one of our nearest neighbours is Indonesia and although things are reasonably smooth at the moment we have had our Rocky times.
