I don't know. You sound kind of partisan when you post a rant about what "Liberals normally" do or don't do. It's also an effort to avoid discussing gun control maturely, resorting to ad hominem over the issue instead.

And there was no ad hom.

Just asked what was your favorite gun. That's the litmus test for "liberal".

For conservatives I ask "what is wrong with freedom of choice?"

No... not like this. Sure there was racism about the first black president but when Trump refers to the white supremacists as good people that is the most divisive thing. When trump refers to those who didn’t vote for his “enemies” that is divisive . When he refers to the press as the enemies, nothing could be more divisive.
I go to this dentist who is a Republican and we would always banter about Obama because he didn’t like him. I saw him recently and we realized we couldn’t even kid around about Trump. He said in the harshest voice, “he is my president right or wrong“ and it stopped the conversation . Luckily all I was going for was a cleaning

Then most women are liberals since we don’t have an obsession with guns

I know many fellow liberals that enjoy guns and shooting. Most that I’ve come across that are antigun are authoritarian as they don’t feel that civilians should have a right to own firearms and that only the police and military should own guns. That’s an authoritarian position and not a liberal one at all. Gun ownership is technically a liberal position in that liberals are generally about wanting to expand civil rights rather than restricting them. It’s weird how the antigun movement is now tied to liberals when that movement should be linked to authoritarians and not liberals. If that makes sense.

In short liberals that are antigun are not really liberals on that issue. They are authoritarian.

Oh, and Feinstein and Pelosi are not liberals, they are authoritarians.

Liberals tend to be more focused on social issues
I'm leaving you at your pathetic, and completely worn out race card. You're right. The division did happen because of race. It happened because YOU thought people didn't vote for your rookie senator because of his skin color.

Thus, Obama's presidency created the worst divide in a century.

Trump winning didn't add or remove any divide. It just made you throw an even bigger temper tantrum.

Your hypothesis is. Comical.I am sure of the KKK and the hundreds of hate groups loved obama...When a president says that neo-Nazis are some good people, that is adding a divide and the fact that you can’t see it speaks volumes about you. I guess it’s just a coincidence that hate groups have increased dramatically since they got permission to come out of their hate shells. And please don’t make a fool out of yourself about putting down Obama because he was a rookie senator, he was in politics for years while your boy doesn’t have one bit of experience in politics and it is showing

No they don't. Most liberals own guns.
Are they some such as those you mention, yes, but liberals don't want to ban all guns. In fact, very few do.

I'd say the divisiveness really took center stage when a black skin man became prez.
The R party had no objective in governing, the only thing they wanted was a 1 term prez black skin man. And they did nothing for 6 yrs.
Then tRUMP comes along and give white nationalists and supremacists a voice and brought further division.

The divisiveness from the right became that way because of his skin color.
What other reason would there be?
The R party never acted that way with any other D prez.

And don't say obamacare, that was BS. As seen by the plan the R's had in place to repeal it when they got control. 7 yes to come up witht the repeal plan, and they had nothing.

So, deal with it. Move on. Quit derailing my intro thread.

I can see why you're not too popular.

I think he means he's the classic type of liberal, back when liberals actually stood for more freedom (or at least certain sorts of freedom) as their primary platform.

Obama was a great peace loving POTUS. Like a Jimmy Carter only much more effective.

And Trump is just a white backlash.

"Classic liberal" is the term that libertarians use to describe themselves.

I disagree. I don't consider myself to be a libertarian.
