The stupid Gov is now going to give virus money to criminal invaders. Where is he going to get that money.

It is a well known fact that Ill and New York along with Calif is moving to have the Fed Gov (taxpayers) pay off the debt the democrat leaders in those states have spent them in the hole.

I say since each states voters were so stupid as to vote in the over spending democrats, raise taxes on those ignorant voters and let them pay off their own debt. Maybe then they will vote in someone with some fiscal responsibility!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The largest contributor of debt for those states are pensions and health insurance benefits for public employees/retirees. Should we take away pensions and health insurance benefits for retired police, fire, teachers, etc?

Huh? You think there are police, firefighters and teachers who are illegal citizens?

Yep when you over promised and under deliver you harm people safeguarding people from their own stupidity is far too costly. Those problems exist almost entirely because Democrat politicians and public unions decided they could play footsie with each other in a cute little game where the Dems would give in to even the most idiotic demands and the public unions would donate to and work for exclusively Democratic candidates. It is a corrupt little game that should have been illegal, but wasn't because one side of that comfy little relationship write the laws and the other side enforced them. Now they both get to pay the piper.

Voters in Calif let the liberals in power run up all that debt. So tax the hell out of them and maybe they will start voting in someone with some fiscal responsibility.

Yup liberals----------------------------------------there is that word responsibility again!!!!

Ha...you think all retired employees have 6 figure pensions? That's funny.
Out of 15,548 total FDNY retirees, the number with six-figure pensions has risen to 23 percent (3,588), up from 8 percent (1,267) in 2011. A total of 161 FDNY retirees are eligible for pensions over $200,000.

CalSTRS reports that the average monthly benefit it paid was $3,831. That comes to $45,972 a year.

You do realize state pension systems are investment funds, right?

Problem with you, Logical- Is you think logically, like I do.

A state that can order it's farmers to collect cow farts is a forward-looking, ground breaking entity, blazing the trail to the future.
I expect any day now they will solve their sidewalk poop problems by providing locking butt plugs for the homeless, then perhaps make it illegal for birds to dump on state owned cars and property to reduce the waste of water when washing them. They have just passed laws giving employees paid leave for bonding with a child, or taking care of a sick family member. Another requires them to provide nursing mothers with "lactation rooms" with refrigerators, and give such mothers breaks to nurse their babies free of intrusion. I don't think they have got around to laws preventing companies from fleeing the state yet, but they probably will; perhaps impose some kind of "exit tax".

Student in 5th grade or lower cannot be suspended from school now for willfully ignoring teachers or administrators, and that will be raised to 8th graders soon. Nothing like teaching them at a young age that there are no consequences for bad behavior. They are now giving state medicaid to immigrants, including the illegals.

There are crazy laws everywhere- but California seems determined to lead the trip to la-la land.

Its CA. Where Berkeley University is. Where they have problems with identity and defining how many sexual orientations one can claim to be.

What happens if California goes bankrupt? I don't want to bail them out. I have no sympathy for anybody who lives beyond their means.

Very well put. I’m not surprised the left ignored it wholesale.
