    Yes after the civil war, they stopped the court from striking down reconstruction acts of congress.

    But, despite the rabbit trail, that is not in play currently.
    The court could not rule against a law that was not in existence. I'm curious what you think you won here?

    Did you actually read the article?
    Nothing here indicates that Roberts has sided with anyone, or that the court has done anything with the case after oral arguments.
    Its status remains pending.
