Lorde cancels Tel Aviv concert after pro-Palestinian fans’ backlash

    The famous singer Lorde has decided to cancel a concert in Tel Aviv in protest of Israel's human rights violations and war crimes against the Palestinians, and for this reason she has been accused of "antisemitism":

    What I would like to know is: was it right or wrong of Lorde to cancel her concert in Tel Aviv? Are these jewish activists right when they accuse her of "antisemitism"? Are you really an "antisemite" if you protest against Israel's human rights violations and war crimes against the Palestinians? As always, all opinions are welcome.

    her fans can rest easy knowing that they can enjoy her talents in multiple cities in Russia, a country that would never oppress, participate in ethnic cleansing, commit human rights violations or occupy anything — certainly not Chechnya, Georgia or Crimea. For justice-seeking Lorde fans who don’t mind repressed freedom of expression and a dearth of civil rights, there will always be Russia.

    I'm sorry, Borat, but modern-day Russia has never done anything that comes close to Israel's war crimes against the Palestinians.

    At least Russia is getting sanctioned for it. Israel can do whatever.

    Even though I don't believe that Russia is an oppressive country, I must say that this is an excellent point.

    LOL, that's supposed to justify the dishonesty, lies, double standard of Jew/Israel haters? Israel is getting hundreds of celebrities every year, no one gives a f*ck about her, it's her loss and it speaks volumes about her ignorance and cowardice... oh, and for the record, the BDS is a total failure, other than a few useless singers they've achieved absolutely nothing.     The only double standards there are is that Israel can breach international law, the Geneva Conventions and binding UN resolutions,... without anybody able to do something. That is unlike Iran, North Korea and Russia. Them are the facts.

    So it's perfectly ok for Lorde and her Jew/Israel hating fans to perform in Russia while Russia occupies Georgia, Chechnya, Ukraine, while it's bombing innocent civilians in Syria, while it's suppressing liberties and freedoms at home, while it's responsible for tens of thousands of Ukrainian (and Russian) deaths in just the last few years?

    Oh, you mean the countries that expressed their support for US president Kushner's disgraceful decision to recognize Jerusalem – even the eastern part which is illegally occupied by jews – as the capital of the racist, genocidal bandit state of Israel:

    Guatemala, Honduras, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, and Togo.

    Like I noted. Russia is being sanctioned for things, Israel is getting away with everything for decades on end. And those Arab haters have no intention to stop trashing the Geneva Conventions, International law and binding UNSC resolutions.

    Blaming Russia for the deaths in the Chechen war is absolutely ridiculous - not to mention off topic since this thread is about a famous pop singer who has cancelled her concert in Tel Aviv in protest of Israel's war crimes against the Palestinians.
