That is a very sound approach. Life is far too short to waste any of it on crazy or dysfunctional people. There are enough well adjusted and stable people in the world to provide a lifetime of friends. People who are confident enough to tolerate differences in politics.

Yeah I didn't say that but if thinking it makes you feel better you have my permission to put it in your happy thought database.

I notice you avoided the point of what I said though. That gave me a good laugh.

    Agreed.

Remarkable people have allowed themselves to be played like this. I have family members who have drawn battle lines.

FB is has become the offensive weapon.

I have friends experiencing the same thing.

Politics and religion, previously a neutral zone friends respected.

The powers behind the Progressive movement have erased that line.

When will people wake up to the manipulation and reject the effort?

What you said was non responsive. You were repeating a Sean Hannity talking point which was part of the GOPs three year six hearing Benghazi hit job on Clinton for purely and admittedly political purposes.

The onset of political hegemony was started by the conservative think tanks who took a third rate radio comedian, shock jock from a Sacramento radio station and made him into a national celeberty and political guru.

I remember Rush when he was up there in Sacramento pissing off ugly women who were railing against Penthouse magazine. He was pretty damn funny and I listened to him sometimes while I was up there. Then started the installation of all of the copycats being supplied with talking points and blaring their lies and distortions 24/7/365 which has continued for over three decades now.

When will you people wake up and realize that you are being conned into supporting people and a party that screws working Americans at every turn, supports and foments idiotic trillion dollar wars for profit and promotes judges who will always side with bank swindlers, billionaires, gross polluters and war profiteers and against working Americans...

No, what I said was a fact.

Then all of them went on TV, including Obama, and lied about it.

You can call it a talking point if you want to try and minimize it.

You are spot on. Even if it turns out that if the charges made against him are proven false, to me the fact that he behaved in such a childish, partisan way is a clear indicator to me that he is not cut out to sit on the supreme court. I think we need a person who'll serve in the position who acts in a professional, civil, dignified manner befitting of the court.

When will you realize that those are the people who tried to stop Trump, and are now cozying up to Obama.

No. I think you got that wrong.

Limbaugh was the response to an offensive that was already under way. The rest came along when that audience proved it appreciated something other than the identity politics the far left was just beginning to drill home.

How do you think he attracted such a large audience? Gee, perhaps that audience was sick and tired of the BS they were subjected to via the left's MSM.

As to the rest of your Progressive inspired memes, why don't you run it past the people who have jobs now, and more money in the pocket?

I'd be interested to know how they respond.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin and most other AM blowhards are all Trumpers.

And these are the people screwing over the working class and fomenting wars?

Without poverty, the Democrat party would be irrelevant.

They all cheered the Cheney/Bush scumbags into their idiotic wars. They always support judges who will make sure that monied interests can buy elections, suppress the vote and allow percentage swindlers a free reign..

I'm sorry, who was suppressing the vote again in 2016?

Suppressing the black vote has been a GOP staple since the mid '70s....

That is what is known as a reckless and vague generalization. But I would remind you that professional athletes sometimes weep.

Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman took his team’s loss in Super Bowl 50 hard. Norman was spotted crying profusely after the Broncos 24–10 victory. https://www.si.com/nfl/2016/02/08/carolina-panthers-josh-norman-cries-video-super-bowl

Another pansy for you. Or is it "whimpering ninny"? Amazing that Norman got a starting position in the NFL.

No. Suppressing people is what the Democrat party stands for.

Without it's base of $15k and under voters it wouldn't exist.

I unfriended a lot of people due to their politics and religion. I do look at my friends with a more critical eye now that the GOP elected Trump. I am sorry but if you helped bring this nightmare upon the world, you bear responsibility. I tend not to spend too much time with them, not worth it.

None of my friends, old foggies also, are political. They vote, sometimes gives opinions one way or the other. But respect for differing opinions is always there. We don't have a lot of political discussions and when we do, rare, never heated.

Politics and religion has never come between us. It probably never will. Our most heated discussions range around Georgia and Georgia Tech football. Sometimes that goes into basketball.
