Loudoun Rapist Removed From Sex Offender Registry After County Board Member Says He’s The Victim

On the heels of a juvenile court judge ruling to place the now 15-year-old boy in Loudoun County, Virginia, who sexually assaulted at least two students in high schools on the sex offender registry for life — the ruling has been revoked. “This court made an error in my initial ruling,” Loudoun County Judge Pamela Brooks said in announcing her decision, as WTOP News reported. “The court is not vain enough to think it’s perfect, but I want to get it right.” The 15-year-old boy, whose name The Daily Wire has continued to withhold due to his age, was found guilty of two counts of sodomy relating to the incident on May 28, 2021, at Stone Bridge High School, as well as another incident at Broad Run High School on October 6, as The Daily Wire reported. There was also another alleged assault victim, but he was never charged. He is on supervised probation until he turns 18 at a locked juvenile treatment center.

This rapist has been in the news a lot. I can't link to every story here. As I understand it:

1. The rapist was a male claiming to be a female.
2. He was allowed to use the girls restroom at his school where he raped a female student.
3. The rape was covered up by the school.
4. The father of the rape victim became irate over the rape at a school board meeting and for speaking out against it was arrested.
5. The biological male was transferred to another school and committed another rape.

Now for those that are thinking this is a bash Democrats threat read the following from the linked article. The bold emphasis below has been added. So here we have a Republican on the Board of Supervisors claiming the rapist was the victim who was cheated by the failure of the system.

The attorneys defending the boy, William Mann, Jonathan Moore, and Caleb Kershner — who sits on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors — pushed the narrative that the boy was a victim. Kershner said he is the center of “a national media outcry” and that this has resulted in the high level of scrutiny.

“We are setting him up for failure,” Kershner, a Republican, claimed in his closing remarks. “We’ve never concentrated on [the boy] — we’re not even giving this young man a chance.” The board member also said the 15-year-old has been “cheated” by the “failure of the system.”

 

It’s telling when a liberal has to call himself a republican to avoid the shame, humiliation and embarrassment of being a liberal democrat.

 

Well, from some perspective, he really is a kid. I don’t think it’s too late to straighten him up - he might need psychiatric involvement and be encouraged to learn well in school and earn a diploma to look forward to freedom after he turns 18. I think a better judgement on the sex offender registry part would be to make it up to psychiatric committee that should evaluate him upon release.
I don’t think it’s right to give long sentences to kids that committed even a heavy crime when they were under 16.

 

The person cheated by the system was the rape victim.

 

There is NOTHING here to make any decisions about what really happened here. Just another republican thread to get worked up and make things up to fit a narrative.

I think the fact that their daughter had banged this kid before and invited him in to the bathroom that day might have taken some of the venom out of these people... But I salute their lenient attitude... Not sure I'd be that open to that result...

I can tell you that most West VA voters, myself included, don't give a flying [expletive] what Bette Midler thinks about anything and the response from Justice to Midler, providing a dogs arse for her to kiss was appropriate. What Midler hates is our Constitutional form of government and the fact that West VA gets to elect Senators that represent West VA. Her people don't get to run everything. Too bad, so sad.

Not mentioned was the fact that Midler called the entire State poor, illiterate, and strung out. I keep pointing out how liberals claim to decry stereotypes yet contently use them.

I'm POSITIVE you are misreading those.... there are disagreements over unisex bathrooms and school board handling, but I've been in most of those threads (being a Loudoun resident and connected to one of the schools involved), but I haven't seen a single person defend this kid or his actions.. Not a one...

 

Wanting the rapist to be in a situation where he might change his behavior instead of jail has nothing to do with this topic which is about putting the offender on the sex offender list.....which is meant to PROTECT others. Even a liberal zealot is capable of seeing that logic of having this troubled and dangerous teen on a Sex Offender list: from the artical....

The boy was found guilty in October of raping a female student while wearing a dress in a Stone Bridge High School bathroom on May 28, 2021.
