The French genius is the father of Micro Biology and the “ Germ theory “ He created the first vaccines for rabies and Anthrax and realized the World and role of pathogens and micro life Such a genius and you should never forget him Plus He was a genius at Chemistry and contributed a ton He was a guy that would spend all his work time doing thousands of experiments
Amen. He made a serious contribution. BTW: There are those on these boards who suggest that science can't address that which can't be seen. Pasteur addressed a serious threat that he could not see. Of course, there are huge numbers of other eamples, many we don't even hear about. There is the obstatrician who noticed that doctors who moved from disecting a cadavers to delivering babies had a higher incidence of death of the mother - and thus introduced hand washing protocols. He postulated that there were unseeable "cadaver particles" that had something to do with it. Newer technology allows us "see" far beyond the capacity of a human eye. But, that doesn't mean science isn't limited to that technology any more than Pasteru was limited in what he could see.
