cut every wire in your house and unplug the ECM in your car and get back to us after you walk to libray to tell us how well that worked out for you.

I would absolutely love to see a verifyable reference for that.

    Ohhh, got ya.

Yea, I am not sure of the source, but I just had this sent to me, and it verifies what he said. In this top-secret experiment, you can see the effect of strong EMP from a super top-secret Nuclear blast on high tech personal protective headgear.

See all that glowing? That is proof that EMP "lightning" is being shead off by the secret metals.

they're both static electricity. one is produced by a storm front, the other by shock waves.

do you have another explanation for a test launch of a scud off a freighter, destroying it at apogee, then starting a nuclear weapons program?

    OMG, really? Really?

    Fail, total fail, utter fail.

    Here, start with this:

    Then move on to this:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse

EMP is certainly not static electricity. And wow, really? Lightning burns out lightbulbs still in the package?

Besides, if your theory/belief is correct, then why are not millions of things knocked out every day due to close by lightning strikes? I mean, EMP is lightning, right?

Please, go and do some research. And when you have a clue of what you are talking about instead of making things up on the top of your head, come on back.

OK, wait, now I am really confused.

They are going to launch a SCUD, destroy it at apogee with a nuclear warhead to cause EMP (why it is phrased "destroy" instead of "detonate" I have no idea), then they are going to start a nuclear weapons program?

I guess this is ignoring the fact entirely that the Scud can only carry tactical scale nuclear warheads and that warheads with those yields cannot generate enough EMP to do what the OP is claiming.

No....but then again I am not the one claiming to know Iran's secret plans. I am just the one laughing at the 'plans'.

are trying to say that friction from a shock wave is some how magically different from than friction from thunderstorm, other than that it's incredibly stronger?

what you see in a lighting strike isn't the electrical energy, it's plasma created by it. if your house is struck by lighting every bulb near the strike is done, but it's going to burn be cause the plasma ignited it. electromagnetic energy only sparks when there's something in it long enough to burn. EMP is too short and too widespread to heat the air to generate plasma.

if you need further clarification, just ask. ;)

And the exact same type of EMP that results from solar flares, the kind that took out the power grid in Ontario, I guess that is from friction as well? So the Aurora Borialis, that is kind of like rubbing your kitty with a balloon, and sticking it on the wall?
