Which side took the higher road,
    Republicans in 2008
    or
    Democrats 2016?

Israel will melt the ME major Arab and Persian cities if the Arabs try to overrun it again.

Stopping a conventional attack is not the same thing as stopping attacks by ballistic missiles or a terrorist with a nuke.

The end result would probably end up being the Israelis nuking millions of innocent people in countries that didn’t attack them. And then the global oil prices would skyrocket and the American economy would crash.

Then Brent Oil tops $2000/barrel and the global economy collapses.

As far as congress goes? Neither took the higher road. Both sides suck.

And America becomes richer because we have become more oil independent while China hasn't. Guess who will be paying off their debt quickly with China when they are buying US oil.

Oil execs would become richer. Your average American would go bankrupt as it suddenly costs more to fill up their car’s tank than they make in a month.

Look at you, happy for the embarrassment to Trump, at the cost of peace on the Korean peninsula and a de-nuclearized NK.

Ah yes. Quite entertaining to watch the obsessed flail at anything and everything to advance the hate-Trump narrative.

Then, returning to Earth, there are those who would think it a good thing to reduce the necessity to station so many troops in South Korea.

Taxes baby right? Finding alternative modes of transportation and alternative fuels for cars would be come a thing. As with any boom in an industry, more people would be put to work to create as much of that product as possible. The ND oil sands didn't explode in population because only the execs got rich. The pay for the entire town rose as well, not just oil workers. Producing and extracting natural resources is how America became so wealthy to begin with, from timber, to silver, oil, tobacco, gold, uranium, coal, natural gas, you name it. The top become richer, sure, so does the rest of the country because those people making a ton need the workers to produce the product. Japan is about the only country I know that has no natural resources who generate wealth, and that's mostly from buying scraps and turning it into a working product.

Actually, only the turd polishers tried to jump the gun.
I wished them both good luck and I think that if they can normalize the Korean situation, then they should both share the Nobel peace prize.
What a photo op that would be- rocket man and the great orange hope celebrating together.
They are as opposite as their two heads of hair, but put them together and you get one full head of hair. Anything could happen.

Kim wants some American dollars and he wants the U.S. to leave South Korea. We shouldn't give him either one. If we want him to lose his nukes, we will have to remove them forcibly. Nothing has changed. Nothing will change.

You seriously think Republicans would support higher taxes on their billionaire friends?

Alternative fuels is a long term solution. It would take months or years for them to be widely implemented. When the majority of American consumers start going bankrupt and consumer driven businesses start having their consumer supply dry up within weeks, any long term solution won’t matter because the economy wouldn’t survive the short term.

Well, we got 8 years of racist birther hysteria from repubs starting in 2008.

Higher? No. Stay the same though.

Maybe we should stop preventing them through government red tape now and let them develop before the "doomsday"?

No red tape is holding back alternative fuels. They can’t beat oil as a fuel for cost effectiveness right now. The only way alternate fuel vehicles can compete is with massive government subsidies.

Your are so biased your judgement is useless. Your language reveals it with each post. It is clownish. Trump isn't going anywhere and refusing to accept that isn't taking you anywhere. But each of us can waste our time in any manner that we want.

In 2020, you'll have a chance to do something about it.
Until then, you'll have to suffer.

    For the correct answer,
grab the front page of the NYT or the Washington Post every day for the first year of either administration. Then we can have a discussion as to who is more unhinged.

The post-election riots by Republicans and conservatives in 2008 and 2012 tell you all you need to know.

I don't think there ever has been a group so steeped in bitterness as those currently claiming to be in the DNC. Their display has been sad to watch but very entertaining.
Especially the "we got him now" crowd.

Stems from their belief that they are too important to not have things they way they want them.
