Greetings and salutations to all my fans (I know there are none) I was wwandering through a garage sale the other day, when lo and behold, I came across someones discarded crystal ball. I asked the sellers if I could buy it, and to my surprise, they agreed to the purchase for a very small price. I asked them if it worked and they insisted that it did, but the were disgruntled with the predictions, so unfortunately, they had decided to sell it. They suggested that a new owner could have better luck. I took it home and gave a clean up with a bit of elbow grease, and to my surprise, I was suddenly listening to a talking crystal ball... The face I looked into was that of Enrico, a bearded, portly building and pest inspector, who was lamenting how much work he had lost over the last year or so. He went on to tell me that when he was busy a coupla years ago, he was doing about 2 or 3 inspections a day, but nowadays, he was lucky to do maybe 3/5 per month. I hurriedly did the mathematics, and realised that his work had dropped by something like 80%!! Are my maths correct?? Does this mean that no-one is selling their house?? I think it does!! Does that mean that the real estate industry is on its knees??...I think it does!! Or does it just mean that people are not selling their houses because they cannot get a fair price?? That suggests that no-one has any money!! Doesnt that mean that our economy is rooted!! I think it does!!.....but not according to Gillard (seen recently tripping the light fantastic to the mellow notes of "Baby Elephant Walk" by Henry Mancini... Enrico also said that if you are in the stock market, for christs sake, get out...liquidate all your stocks, as the sh1t is about to hit the fan.... Cheers all, and have a great night....
What the hell is this thread? If you are hearing strange voices, please consult your doctor! Edit: No point in wasting another post, but just got to lol at magoo.
So we're basing our state of the economy on the opinion of Enrico, a bearded, portly building and pest inspector? Oh Magoo, you've done it again

Unfortunately, most Australians dont realise they have been sitting on an over exaggerated property time bomb for decades, just like Ireland did before it exploded. Underpinning the Australian economy is now in the realm of basic year nine math; no country can live off two levels of over inflated industry forever - property and resources. Again, unfortunately for Australians, Spain was a classic example of a country who pinned its hope of a green economy by introducing a carbon tax and spending the profits from its carbon tax on developing green industries. I believe is was costing them around $800,000 to create one new job in a green industry verses $50,000 in the industries prior to the carbon tax, and transfer to green industries. Thank the troll queen and backdoor Bob for not telling the people about the financial mess Spain got itself into with the carbon tax and transferring jobs from old industries into new green ones. They knew about the situation with Spain before they forced this on the Australian people, and if they didnt - just shows what a pair of loser they really are. Spain is hundreds of billions of Euros in debt thanks to this stupidity, and now they dont know how to get themselves out, besides borrowing money and encumbering the people with a financial liability that will take decades to pay back - if they can pay it back.
