The Supreme Court doesn't make law. They either uphold lower court decisions or decide against or refuse to hear the case. Roe v. Wade wasn't a case of the Supreme Court making a law, they simply struck down anti-abortion laws that had been passed. If the Supreme Court strikes down Roe v. Wade, that will simply open the door for some states to pass stricter abortion laws, which will then have to to pass lower court cases that will sure to be brought by pro-choice advocates. And the cycle will begin again.
