And David Duke was endorsing a Democrat for 2020.

At the time the KKK was initiated Democrats were not what they are today and Republicans were not either, that a Democrat was part of the organization or even started it is in no way surprising. Are you saying that Factcheck deliberately changed what was said to make a political point? If so, I would need to review the initial statement as well as what they said.

I'm sure. But that doesn't address anything I said.

You make that up because you wish it to be true. Doesn't work that way, though.

Well it looks like you agree that democrats founded the KKK. As for fact check the standard line is as I said, democrats founded the kkk. Fact check purposely didn't fact check that because it would be true so they changed it to the democrat party founded the kkk which is constructing a straw man to get the false ruling they desired

    Classic projection ^
I have seen enough of your post to see it. You think a real racist would hire (or recommend) minorities? You have implied I am racist, the one creating things, is YOU.

In this thread that link was given in my response to "democrats founded the KKK" which makes it an irrelevant response.
In the big picture I think you'll look long and hard for a single example of anyone claiming the democrat party founded the KKK. You will however find numerous examples of people saying democrats founded it.

"The first Klan flourished in the Southern United States in the late 1860s during Reconstruction, then died out by the early 1870s. It sought to overthrow the Republican state governments in the South, especially by using violence against African-American leaders"

No one needs to impress bigots or seek their approval. We're all equal, after all. Just don't break the law by discriminating against me because of your views. When I say 'you' and 'your', I'm speaking generally.

We have common language and common beliefs - such as in the founding principles - that transcend race.

For example - one should not come here from Pakistan - a nation where Honor Killing is acceptable and expect to be able to do that here.

Okay....Found it. Its hard to believe all this was about the above comment in which it seems quite clear what your intent was. If you were not referring to the Party then it would have helped to write that differently to avoid confusion. Even simply using the word "Some" before Democrats would have helped.

If I canot speak as I normally do without taking into consideration someone else's skin colour then they can go be damned. If I can refer to a bully (who's white) as a gorilla but not to a bully (who's black) then what sort of racial consideration is expected of me? Other than the insult itself, I take no racist indignity at being called "an ass" just because I am white.

This whole "racist" thing is the new scourge of the west in the same way that Joseph McCarthy's Communist hysteria was during the 1950's. It's BULLSHYT.

Is there more to be said? Only the born-again stupid people believe that the Democratic Party introduced slavery and the KKK to the US.

See how when you Google democrats started the kkk all the so called fact check sites check Democrat party started the kkk instead of democrats? Not one site answers that question because it would be 100% true.

Yeh, it’s really no different than overt racism. Just different jerseys on the players. Its why I can’t take these race hustling clowns very seriously anymore.

"The Klan began in Tennessee, in the small town of Pulaski, near Memphis. It was founded by Confederate army veterans at a drinking club there and the strange but memorable name was a combination of ‘clan’ and the Greek word kuklos, meaning ‘circle’ or, in this case, social club. Dressed up in scary costumes with hoods and masks, members rode about at night threatening and frightening blacks. They demanded that blacks either vote Democrat or not vote at all. They met defiance with beatings, whippings and sometimes murder. They burned blacks’ houses down and drove black farmers off their land and they extended their hostilities to southern whites who opposed them and the so-called ‘carpetbaggers’, white infiltrators from the North. I suppose a bit of both as those who come here but refuse to assimilate piss me off and the violence in black culture scares me into avoidance.
