    On a lighter note, some fattie sat on Santa's lap and instead of presents, Santa gave the kid the best gift ever; life saving advice:

    FOREST CITY, NC - What should have been a jolly visit with Santa was anything but for one North Carolina boy, who says he was fat-shamed by Saint Nick.

    "And I went out and I started crying because I just felt so bad," 9-year-old Anthony Masyse told WLOS.

    “When I got done, he said lay off the hamburgers and french fries, and that really just disrespected me and I felt awful,” Anthony said.

    “I was just mind blown. I wished a million times that we would have never went,” said mom Ashley Mayse.

    The town manager says Santa apologized for the rude remarks to both the supervisor and the Mayse family.

    "When he went to apologize to me, he didn't even mean it," Anthony said.

    Anthony's mom says she wants him fired for the insensitive comments.

    Mom should probably be ashamed of herself for doing this to her child. It's not the child's fault, it's the parents.

    Santa shouldn't have said this to the child though, that's horrible.

    So you are amused by that, what if he had told your kid to go back to India or told a Korean kid to go back to Korea. Would you have found that funny also.

    What if he told your kid if he liked his toys then he could keep his toys but then he took the toys away and blamed the Easter Bunny.

    Only in the eyes of someone who thinks a assclown telling a kid he is fat is ok. I doubt the folks at the mall are paying him to insult the customers.

    Being Indian or Korean is not a choice. Being obese is. Horrible fail on your part.
    Either way, I agree the Santa should not have said it. It's a little funny though - but I know progressives are joyless.

    So everyone who is obese is that way just because they are lazy and eat too much.

    It made the kid cry, so what is funny about it.

    Kids need to learn the lessons of life. One of those lessons is that people will criticize and offend them. It was inappropriate for the santa to say it. No doubt about that. It isn't his mission. But it was probably a good life lesson for the boy.
