After a summer of noose chasing, they had to show us something. Here's the thing, propaganda only works when you're trusted. They can show us a million nuts(or okay, we'll settle at 500,000) and there's the fact that there's 320+ million of us citizens lol. And when they complain that people don't trust them, I hope they realize that orange man bad disappearing doesn't change my lack of trust.

The first part of that is technically all true but the part in bold is where it goes the rails. Pres Trump has undoubtedly encouraged many countless Americans to refuse to wear masks but its a far step into absurdity to suggest he has promoted a violent resistance to them.

 

LOL! Really? Aren't you the one who starts several threads a week with ONE example of a liberal purportedly (posted by RW media) doing or saying something stupid, and then extrapolating that to liberals as a whole?

 

These jokers are striking at our democracy by going after elected officials.

 

This particular group of nut jobs do seem to be against anyone and everyone in government, including Trump. Anarchists is probably the correct label.

That said, however, the spark that prompted this specific fiasco was the mask mandate, and Trump's tweet to "LIBERATE MICHIGAN!!!" The gatherings at the capitol in Lansing, which most of this group attended, was definitely organized by, and attended by, right wingers.

 

Not directly ... Trump won't ever do or say anything direct. But he does tweet and re-tweet a lot of right wing rhetoric, some of it from white nationalist groups, and some by true nut job groups like QAnon. Some of the blame does fall on his shoulders. The words of a president carry more weight than anyone's, and while he seems clueless of this fact, I don't buy it. I think he's very deliberate.

and i feel horrible for him and people like him that can’t see family members that are in homes....but we have to learn from the Cuomo disaster in NY.

 

Then, Dem leaders are certainly responsible for all the riots and burning because they kept Tweeting and retweeting about how evil and racist cops are and never once condemned anyone rioting and killing, certainly not by name, when we have them on video yelling BLM while tossing firebombs through windows.

 

A large portion, not all, of Trump supporters like him because he will tear up our government. Not because they think he is a great leader, but because they know he is not.

 

If they make credible threats to government officials like this guy...I absolutely will

But attacking government officials is kinda a big deal

 

I can't speak for others, but here's what I see as Trumps fault:
- the failure of the stimulus to get to The People because it was just thrown out there without enough specific direction
- an administration full of backstabbing establishment shills that he keeps hiring because he won't look beyond their 'credentials' (which exascerbates problems like the previous point)
