I would hope she knew nothing of his past. I can understand a father killing to protect his children. I would likely do the same thing, although I couldn't condone it.

If she is smart, she'll take the kids and get the hell away from him. I just hope he didn't hurt them.

 

That wont help. Think about what the kids are going through..they are going to be scared by this even if this monster didnt kill Daniel.. The kids are now going to know af their fathers past and that will damage them later in life.

 

Any person male OR female convicted of a sex crime should be put away for life at the very least and killed for the more serious crimes

Hopefully the kids are too young to understand, or if they are older, they are shielded from the media coverage.

I think it depends on the crime, though. And I don't believe in the death penalty, so I wouldn't want to see them killed.

 

violent rape, kiddy rape, kiddy porn, child killers.. people that commit such crimes are not needed in society and should be removed.

We can remove them by jailing them, though. Killing them doesn't bring back the dead, or take away the pain an abused child has suffered. I'd rather lock them up and make them scared of every day, always wondering whether someone is behind them - because you know how much people in jail loathe baby killers.

Mak, i have been on the inside of a jail ( not in a cell thanks god) but on visits. I have a family member serving a long sentence and can tell you that jails in Australia are by far too cushy.

 

depends entirely on the person. Some cant cope and commit suicide while others fit right in. Some become prey and others are predators. Prison can be a horrifying hell for those without the skills to defend themselves from the predators and without affiliation to the gangs. A visitors centre will tell you little about the conditions.

Let's say that a rape conviction carries the death penalty. What do you lose by killing the victim during the rape? Nothing, in fact you gain the fact that there won't be a victim to testify that you raped them.
