This is certainly an encouraging thought!

A more targeted approach certainly did work in Sweden.... from the very beginning of the pandemic.

I have read previously that many of us were immune to COVID 19 due to our having been exposed to one of the same family of viruses.

 

It's getting there, but the problem is going to be getting the politicians to let go, particularly when China sends us another one. We were weakened as a country, they were not.

March 19th will be two weeks after my wife and I got our second Moderna. We are going to celebrate by 'cautiously' going out for dinner for the first time since the pandemic began.

Presuming the European data is true and accurate, possibly a bad presumption, one likely explanation is that Europe has been locked down for the better part of a year. The data is solid that the lockdowns have caused more harm than the virus itself.

Keeping people indoors is bad for the human immune system. Making them wear masks all the time is bad for the respiratory system.

 

And it was your choice to live in fear. I can tell you this, many of Your fellow Democrat voters have been here in FL dining out and enjoying liberty, yet still vote for politicians who despise liberty. Kind of ironic, don't you think?

 

Living wisely is not living in fear. When the penalty for failure is death one has to weigh the odds.

Have you not heard of comorbidities and the number of deaths of those with comorbidities? Several of our local hospitals report that data but do not make it public. In the largest hospital, 97.6% (latest number) of covid RELATED deaths are those over 65 years of age with comorbidities

In other words, they were already a ticking time bomb.

The more who catch Covid the better we all are. Antibodies are created and, those folks can then donate plasma.
The more who get vaccinated the better we all are

Are you ready for this.................Covid is now endemic, much like the flu and common cold. KNowing that, how do you wish to proceed living your life, in fear, or properly wash your hands?

How does one "cautiously" go out? Sanitize everything? Wear a mask? Stay as far away from others as possible?

Sounds like even with the "vaccine" (it's not actually a vaccine in functionality) that you are still choosing to live your life in fear. In that case, it doesn't seem like the "vaccine" is actually doing anything for you...

Any even beyond the effects on the immune/respiratory systems, it affects one's mental health as well. It makes me sad to think about how much people have been missing out on "living life" due to this fear mongering. Many people haven't been going out to eat, haven't been gathering with family and friends, haven't been socializing in person, and on and on... It also makes me sad to think about how children are being mentally affected by all of this, how they are being raised to be paranoid about germs and paranoid about physically interacting with other people. And for any human, physical interaction is a vital part of life (kissing, hugging, hand holding, rough housing, and on and on).

We need to get a grip and return back to sanity... return back to how we lived our lives pre-2020... We are doing irreversible harm, not only on ourselves, but on our children and future generations.

I most certainly think so. And I WISH I lived in FL where there is liberty... Hopefully us MAGA supporters here in WI can take back the governor spot in 2022 [that was stolen from us in 2018] so that we can enjoy liberty as well. --- However, even with King Evers being a tyrant, I still defy his mask mandate, even in uber liberal Dane County which has their own mask mandates. I haven't ran into any issues with anyone as of yet. The two people who have talked to me for a bit about it agreed with me that the mask mandate is BS (one also not masked, the other masked but not wanting to be).

You don't just go to just 'any' restaurant. You go to one that practices good safety protocol. You dine outside (today somewhere around 78 degrees) in Tucson. Little more than common sense.

What you meant was "who believes what the lefty-hand-selected scientists and doctors report." There are many scientists and doctors who are saying otherwise, but Big Tech and other media are trying their hardest to silence those voices. Thankfully, their videos and information are still archived and accessible to anyone willing to look for it.

I would consider the outsourcing of one's thinking to others ("the scientists", "the doctors", "the media", "the experts"), instead of thinking for oneself, to be stupid.

You don't know that, and even if you did, that doesn't make you correct.

 

If you're educated in the field you're thinking about - true. If you're like most trumpers, uneducated, all you're leaving your knowledge to are the Pied Pipers like donald trump, Jim Jones and Charles Manson.

huh? Not giving advice. You asked of my co-morbidities and I said that i have none.

As for those who wish to live in fear, especially those like the self-professed 86 year old poster, it's my OPINION that he wasted an entire year of which, he has few left.

That makes no sense and frankly why I call BS to the claim of being 86. IF the poster is in fact 86, then I feel bad for him because he cowered in fear thanks to you and your fellow Democrat voters as well as the media.
