I have Syracuse getting beat by Wisconsin as well, but with Wisconsin losing to Ohio State in the next round.
I had Wisconsin beating FSU in the Elite 8, but, they looked really good closing the season... Guess that was a mistake... I suspect y'all will be playing Wisconsin... That could go either way, but, I understand your decision...
It's too bad Norfolk State didn't present a better challenge. I'm beginning to wonder if Cinderella is going to show up at the ball this year...
And both of 'em leaked through the Midwest (go figure). I have a hard time seeing an ACC team as a Cinderella. Ohio fits the profile a little better...
The Kendall Marshall Watch is on... Kendall Marshall undergoes surgery; playing status questionable http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...status_questionable/srvc=home&position=recent The good news for Tar Heel fans is that Marshall's a lefty and he broke his right wrist. Maybe he'll make it back for the Final Four if UNC makes it that far (?)...
Not that I wish bad on him, but, I'd prefer he "sat it out" for the tourney... You know, to be on the safe side...
It would be an unacceptable risk for him to return for the Final Four. If he does, I think that'll make two Tar Heels playing with a busted hand/wrist. They're taking a beating out there...
No doubt - he's in for the wrist-slapping of a lifetime. You have to wonder how effective he can be with one good hand. Generally, you like to have a point guard who can dribble with both hands. Of course, the team doctor could just shoot it full of pain killers and pray that screw stays in place. Risky stuff, either way. He'd be smart to sit things out, but he's probably an intense competitor who'll throw caution to the wind for a championship...
Pretty much winging it... Just trying to avoid certain things after sundown, what with the chirren being with me and all... Otherwise, good times shall be had... But, I definitely need to go to St. Louis No. 1, French Quarter, taking the kids to the zoo or the aquarium (they love animals), hitting a Hornets game, and eating...lol Definitely wish I could hit the Final Four, but, gotta have the young'un back in time for school...
Sounds like a blast. New Orleans is a truly special place - once you've been there you'll always want to go back...
I suspect I will, being that I'm only about 2 1/2-3 hours away... Surprised I haven't been in the 5 years I've been here...lol I think the coolest part will be taking my son to his first basketball game... Since it'll be my first one too...lol
