The U.S. Marine Corps plans to assault the Trump's Mar-a-Lago and hold the ground why celebration the U.S. Marine Corps anniversary of being the most deadly weapon in the world for 224 years.

U.S. Marines have a hard-on for CnC Trump. Unlike the last CnC not worth mentioning his name, no Marine has been issued an unlawful order to hold an umbrella, to stand down from their post or to destroy their rifles in the past 2 years and 9 months.

I wonder what the Democrats reaction will be with a company of drunk Marines occupying the Mar-a-Lago ?

    Hope they trash the place!!

Fortunately for the Marines, the extremely logical HOTEL Act won't pass Moscow Mitch's desk... Glad to see you are happy Trump getting richer.... he'll need it to pay his legal expenses when he's a private citizen...

LOL at the expert they found to comment on this story

"It's a work in progress," said a Marine who picked up the phone late Thursday

There is nothing logical about punishing a hotel simply because one of its invested was elected president. It stinks of politician good old boys trying to forbid businessmen and women from entering politics.

With that said, the place looks beautiful. Our soldiers deserve it!

The place IS beautiful and yes, they deserve it.

After eight years of Obama, who can blame them for being happy to now have Trump in charge instead.

It's pitiful to begrudge them the celebration only because *gasp* Trump owns it.

If the marines are paying for it out of their own pockets all well and good, but if any portion of the payments are direct from TAXPAYERS then it is just more of Dirty Donalds out and out corruption of the office of the presidency.

If Trump had followed the common practice of placing his business interests in a blind trust this would not be an issue

    Love it.

Put that many Marines in south Florida and there's a chance they might capture Cuba. :rock_slayer:

Let them whine. It is a private resort owned by the Trump organization. I would hope the event is off limits to the press, even if President Trump decides to make a guest appearance to welcome the Marines at his home away from home(s).

Every year on November 10'th where ever there are U.S. Marines be it on a base, on ship or in a theatre of combat they celebrate the Marine Corps birthday.

It gets little coverage by the MSM except maybe Fox News.

I'm all for it if Trump offers to let them hold their event there for free. I'm tired of taxpayer money being funneled into Trump's pocket. Not that I expect Trumpists to understand.

For free, or donated the profits (like to Wounded Warrior Project or something for veterans), or found out what somewhere like the Breakers charges and charged the same ---- I think any of those solutions would satisfy even the most ardent Trump haters.

Of course, we're assuming Mar-a-Lago is even available....

As long as Trump actually followed through on the donation, sure. His charity record isn't exactly the best.

It is too bad that the country is so polarized. I'm sure there are Marines who are democrats. I'm also sure that if they put away their politics for a night, their event at Mar-a-Lago would have been very special. If anything, I blame liberal Media as the party Poopers. They should be who must pay to find them an alternate location.

Technically yes they are the Navy's soldiers. But when I was in the military Marines who I knew considered themselves Marines not soldiers.

Don't say that around a group of Marines.

The word you're looking for is "rifleman".
