So, anyone following the Marvel Comics have seen their viewership drop significantly for their printed material. This has been attributed to their SJWs leanings of making a more "diverse" (less white straight male) characters. From turning Iceman gay, to making Ironman a black female teen, they have been trying to push this ideology and expand their readership by getting rid of old characters that their base readers have come to love. They even tried turning Capt. America evil, a force for hydra, as we saw them being a representation of the alt-right during the 2016 presidential election.

For the most part, Marvel studios have stayed away from this line of thinking. They had a little SJW moment in Spider-Man Homecoming with turning MJ black, and when she said something about the Washington monument being built by slaves. But for the most part, their themes of their movies have been a more libertarian theme. Cap America: The Winter Soldier was heavily pushed for less government ideals by Cap. Civil War was the battle between big government control and individual liberty. In this past instalment of Avengers, we see Thanos carrying out the ultimate communist ideology of whipping out half the galaxy's population to give everyone MORE stuff.

So, with those statements being said, does anyone believe with the next Avengers movie of putting Capt Marvel as their saving grace and killing off many of the men of the Avengers that its Marvel Studios pivot into the SJW realm? Capt Marvel, being a 5 time failure of a publication in the comics for Marvel, is now going to be Marvel's flagship character in the theater realm. If it hasn't worked for the printed version of the comics, do you think it will work for the cinematic universe?

I agree, Disney is going to destroy Marvel movies, like they did star wars

Aren't all these dead Marvel characters actually in a parallel universe where Gwen Stacy is still alive and people believed that Scarlett Johansson is Japanese?

Seriously there's no such thing as canon anymore in the Marvel Universe. Isn't Thanos the son of Darkseid and therefore the embodiment of Jack Kirby's Estates's revenge on Stan Lee and the Contracts of Doom?

What we're seeing now is the Revenge of the One-Dimensional Character and the utter impossibility of making actual realistic stories about characters who have long claws concealed in their forearms and the moral breadth of 12 year olds. By next year we'll probably have Multi-billion dollar SFX epics about the combined Star Trek/Star Wars adventure set in Wakanda, where Logan turns black and. Professor Xavier becomes the Professoress, Champion of the gender challenged disabled everywhere. "Nuff said.

They had better bring back their dead with that time stone. They killed half of their market, including Black Panther. That makes me think that they have to bring them back. Can you imagine the outrage if Disney kills off their biggest money making black superhero?

Will people still watch for nostalgia sake like with starwars? I saw the last one in theaters, but I doubt I will watch the next one before it comes to Netflix. My prediction for the next starwars theme is, since the 1% (jedis) no longer hording the force, the other 99% get their fair share.

Since when were the Jedi the only ones "hoarding" the Force?

Who cares? It’s just a bunch of movies. Don’t like them? Don’t watch them.

Which non-jedi before the extinction in episode 3 used the force? Now we see slave kids and randoms using the force. I am only talking cinematic cannon, not books and comics. The average star wars fan, not "fanboys".

Right, so you don't think any of the culture is influenced by media? The trope of always having a gay person in a TV show hasn't led to the idea that 30% of the US population is gay, vs reality of <3%?
    http://news.gallup.com/poll/183383/americans-greatly-overestimate-percent-gay-lesbian.aspx

Oh, and I do agree, do like it, don't patronize it, that's why Marvel print is failing so hard with their SJW themes. The discussion was the thought of if the cinematic universe was going in the same direction?

    The Sith?

Also, the Force was never, ever a Jedi-centric thing.

They were still trained in one place or another. From what I remember from the movies, they were all former Jedis.

Only one was a former Jedi and that was Count Dooku. Darth Maul and Darth Sidious a.k.a. the Emperor were straight Sith-trained baddies.

Ok, still a small percentage of the galaxies population had the ability to use the force. Now everyone seems to be able to use it.

As Luke explained in The Last Jedi, the Force isn't limited to just the Jedi but everyone. Everyone always did have the ability to use it, otherwise the Jedi Order would never have grown to be as big and influential as it did, same with the Sith. Yoda said in The Empire Strikes Back that the Force is an "energy field" that surrounds and penetrates everything. Furthermore, kids who are Force sensitive doesn't mean that their respective lineage was also that way. Example: in Star Wars Rebels, the main character Ezra is able to use the Force while his parents were just random citizens with no special powers of their own.

Yes, I get that. But only a small fraction of people used the force with great proficiency before the culling. Now, more people are using it in small ways to help themselves out. Its a frame work for a story of "now the 1% aren't hording the wealth, the other 99% can have some of it as well to make their lives better." Just a theory.

I mean obviously, the vast majority of Jedi Force users were underdeveloped by the time of Order 66 because they were still learning it or new techniques hadn't been developed just yet, and the council were the ones who were the absolute most skilled at it, before everyone else was killed off, leaving the most proficient ones to hide. Makes sense.

And I can't say it was a 1% hoarding the wealth thing because it was never just a one-sided thing. Besides random people using for small things makes sense because there's no supremely skilled users or academies out there to teach them, they're just on their own.

Show me where I said either of those things

    Prove it

Of course it’s going in the same direction because that’s the direction that consumers are demanding. Are you against consumers having freedom of choice? What are you, a socialist?

I wasn't saying you said it, was giving examples of how "ignoring" media that promotes leftist ideas, or letting leftist take over established media can falsely influence the masses.

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/13267/marvel-depoliticize-its-comics-after-social-frank-camp

The consumers or the "squeakiest wheel". The antagonist of Avengers is still going off the Marxist playbook, and in 10 years, there hasn't been a large calling for SJW "equality" in the cinema universe. When the last Spider-Man called for a male MJ, that production was shut down pretty fast. Pretty sure its not what the masses are calling for, just the loud mouth SJWs.

Comic book scholars can't identify with diverse humans. That's the kind of scattered focus that caused Shakespeare to fail.

The disgruntled should be gaga over the rumoured forthcoming "GoeringQuest" I imagine.

Which circles back to my original question: who cares?

You don’t know what proof is. Personal anecdotes and hearsay are not proof.

And the quiet masses either don’t care or stop watching it. Why are you so against that?
