It wasn't included in the article that FBI LIED to the FISA judges to obtain the FISA warrants.

    https://www.realclearinvestigations...ties_a_trump_fisa_release_to_obstruction.html

THAT'S WHAT CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATIONS WERE TRYING TO FIND OUT! But the corrupt bureaucrats refuse to be TRANSPARENT to the American people hoping the House flips to dems and Trump will be impeached WITHOUT PROPER TRANSPARENCY!

    Sheesh!

So reading the article that was cited elsewhere the issue is that there is a question of whether the VRA overrides the Succession Law of the AG, which specifies whom may take over. Its pretty murky and it used to be that the VRA explicitly did not cover the AG.

Nobody is claiming that somebody can be appointed. The question is whether Mr. Clean can be appointed given his ethical issues.

    What is "proper transparency"?

That little bird just crapped on your hat champ. There are several GOP Senators who actually care about the rule of law. Romney just signaled that he wasn’t going to go along with any Trump attempt to subvert or obstruct Justice. Kelleyanne Conways husband also spoke up today. If Trump is wise he will just shut his trap and let Mueller do his job.

Rosenstein wasn’t involved in the campaign.

It requires the executive branch departments and agencies to report to Congress and Government Accountability Office (GAO) information about the temporary filling of vacant executive agency positions that require presidential appointment with Senate confirmation......snip~

It was there all along? Was that suppose to be a redundant question? Or was that repeating for leftists so that they may filter it down?

If Mueller produces enough evidence GOP Senators will start jumping ship like rats and start kissing Pence’s ass like it was a rip watermelon...

It's too late. There are too many questions that still need to be answered by the DoJ and FBI for proper transparency.

Could be true, but Rosenstein is a slime bucket. Since Obama spent his entire administration amassing the worst record before the Supreme Court than any other full term president, perhaps Trump felt entitled to exert the same unconstitutional powers as his predecessor. I can understand that. I'm sure you can too.

Whitaker to the Demos and their Cult following.

Acting AG Whitaker Pretty Much Tells Dems To Shove It: No Recusal From Overseeing Russia Probe …..

President Trump fired Jeff Sessions from his attorney general post yesterday. Matthew Whitaker is now acting attorney general, and he’s now in position to oversee the Russia investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Whitaker has criticized the probe before, which prompted top Democrats to call for his recusal (via The Hill):

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday said that acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker should recuse himself from overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

"Given his previous comments advocating defunding and imposing limitations on the Mueller investigation, Mr. Whitaker should recuse himself from its oversight for the duration of his time as acting attorney general," Schumer said in a statement on Wednesday.

    […]
Schumer, in a separate press conference with reporters, warned that attempts by Sessions's successor or Trump to interfere with the investigation would spark a "constitutional crisis.".....snip~

The report has not even been filed and thus far, Mueller has not accused Trump of anything. If and when he produces evidence of criminal activity the Senate will weigh the evidence. Regardless of your delusions, all GOP Senators are not Sean Hannity “Deep State” imbeciles.

Pull your own head out of the sand.

    https://www.realclearinvestigations...ties_a_trump_fisa_release_to_obstruction.html

Trump wanted to release documents regarding FISA warrant applications, at least one of which was signed by Rosenstein himself. Rosenstein REFUSED!

If dems try to proceed with MANY questions about the FISA warrants, then it won't go anywhere. If the American PEOPLE see MORE of this crap that has gone on for almost two years, then the dem party will destroy itself.

This is what you get when you replace a constitutional law professor with an ignorant, criminal conman. We were warned.

    More on that.

Trump violated the Constitution when he appointed Matthew Whitaker.

The Appointments Clause of the Constitution, Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 states that principal officers of the United States must be nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate under its “Advice and Consent” powers.

The New York Times reports, "A principal officer must be confirmed by the Senate. And that has a very significant consequence today.

"It means that Mr. Trump’s installation of Matthew Whitaker as acting attorney general of the United States after forcing the resignation of Jeff Sessions is unconstitutional. It’s illegal. And it means that anything Mr. Whitaker does, or tries to do, in that position is invalid.

"But the flaw in the appointment of Mr. Whitaker, who was Mr. Sessions’s chief of staff at the Justice Department, runs much deeper. It defies one of the explicit checks and balances set out in the Constitution, a provision designed to protect us all against the centralization of government power."

Once again, Trump thinks he is an emperor. Once again, the Republican Congress filled with Trump sycophants do nothing about it even when Emperor Trump is usurping their power.

As a card-carrying Republican I say this, thank God the Democrats gained control of the House. The idea of an unchecked Trump for two more years was frightening.

I am an American first and a Republican second. More should feel that way about their party affiliation.

ROFL. Romney is a Trump -enemy- and Conway's husband is a Democrat private sector lawyer. Rest assured, whomever Trump wants in the AG position will be installed, legal whining notwithstanding. 90% chance Rosenstein will be out within the month. 75% Mueller Investigation will be done then too. Start bidding Muhrussia! adieu as a shameful stain of partisan excess on the Democrat Party's history. Awww.

And then quickly removed, when he faces legal or political consequences. Just like all the other times.

Remember when he appointed a foreign agent as head of our national security? That was adorable.

Doubtful. Don't get your hopes up of a head shot by Mueller. But he will tell the Dems where to find one... He will give them the road map....

Scratching the bottom of the barrel looking for a crumb....... The president can appoint anyone he chooses to be acting Attorney General as long as the appointee has been previously approved by the Senate. He does not need in any way Schumer's, or Napolitano's, or any other hack's approval.
