WASHINGTON — California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, a favorite among liberal progressives, told The Daily Caller Thursday that this weekend’s scheduled appearance in New Hampshire has nothing to do with potentially running for president in 2020.

But she said that she would run for president if millennials want her to.

“I’m just going up to do a county Democratic thing. That’s all,” she said.

When TheDC pressed further, Waters, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, said laughing, “I’m not running for anything but my own seat. I don’t have any presidential aspirations. If the millennials want me to do it, I’d do it, though.”

The California Democrat, who is in her 14th term representing a large swath of south central Los Angeles, has previously called for Trump’s impeachment.

“Mr. Speaker, my position against this president and his administration is clear. I oppose this president. I do not honor this president. I do not respect this president,” Waters said during a floor speech.

According to an invitation obtained by New Hampshire’s WMUR, Waters is set to be in the state on Sunday for a picnic scheduled to be at the Miller Farm in New Durham, where she will be around members of the Strafford County Democratic Committee.

Maxine is a criminal....

"During the height of the 2008 fiscal crisis, Waters helped arrange a meeting between the Treasury Department and top executives of a bank where her husband was a shareholder. Using her post on the House Financial Committee as leverage, she called Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson personally, asking him to meet with minority-owned banks."

"When Treasury followed through, there was only one financial institution present: OneUnited. Had that bank gone under, the New York Times reported, Waters' husband would've lost as much as $350,000. Luckily for the Waters family, OneUnited received a cool $12 million in bailout funds.

After three years of special investigation, the ethics committee eventually ruled that Waters didn't technically break any rules. But that ruling came after unearthing her more than questionable family business practices, like making her grandson, Mikael Moore, her chief of staff."

The woman is a dirty politician and a parasite. She should be impeached. And the woman has the gall to go after Trump. Dimmies are so stooooopid.

I sincerely hope Maxine runs. She should have that guy that thinks islands will flip over if they become too populated as her VP. And appoint Stewart Smalley as SoS.

 

I honestly hope she runs and wins! Will wake up a lot of people.

 

I actually hope this happens. It would wake so many people out of their comfort slumber.

 

I'm rooting for Maxine to run. She currently hides behind the friendly and compliment press (MSNBC, CNN) to spout her hateful, racist and ignorant rhetoric. Running will force her out in the open. Maxine will have to confront her record. She'll be torn apart and reduced to political goo within a week or two of announcing, which will be worth more than the price of admission.

Run Maxine. Run!!

 

Problem: When Maxine says she'll run if "Millennials" want her to, she thinks the word is referring to people her age, around the thousand year-old mark.

I would love to see her in such a spotlight as to illuminate her corruptions as a Los Angeles politician, a State of California politician and a Congress person.
She leaves a trail of corruption.
If memory serve me accurately, I believe her husband at the time of her Los Angeles City Council tenure took the fall for graft although it involved the office of councilwoman Maxine Waters.

This person is not worthy to serve in Congress.
A run for the president would help prove that.
And hopefully help Senator Al Franken secure the Democratic Party nomination in 2020.
