    Pretty sure the military developed the internet. And those same lefties seek to silence opposing viewpoints via google/youtube etc.

    BTW, I have several friends who work in silicon valley, they aren't liberal.

    Yet Silicon Valley is quite liberal. Every person who has pushed the development of computers from Babbage, to Moore, to Jobs and Gates, to Zuckerberg have all been quite liberal leaning.

    The internet originally was piggybacked on AT+T trunk lines. There are several data transfer protocols that operate on the internet. In the early days it was mostly scientists who used the internet. It was scientists working at CERN who created the HTTP protocol and HTML that most people think of as the internet.

    The DP could not lose with such a wonderful diversity.

    Of course, when President Farrakhan has his VP thrown off the Washington monument the DP approval numbers might take a bit of a hit.

    Silly me. I didn't think about the "throw the gays off the roof" thing.

    I can see how that would present an issue, but on the other hand, many people would heartily approve of a traitor being hurled from the apex of George Washington's lofty obelisk. It's conceivable that such a stunt might actually improve President Farrakhan's approval numbers.

    I believe she is plenty intelligent, intelligent enough to say and do what gets her easily reelected and brings in the political contributions. In general she gets 70% of the votes. I also think it is likely she has been tasked with saying crazy things because she can do it with relative impunity whereas for others it would entail some political risk in their districts. Outspoken, radical political theatre = Maxine Waters.
