Congress can override him. Did you think Trump have dictatorial power or something?? Trump should stop wasting time and start negotiating for the money for the wall like he said they would.

 

And both houses can override Trump but the republicans won't because they are a bunch of obstructionists.

This is so simple! Congress has not delivered a bill that the President will sign or a bill that can be over-ridden. Why vote on it? Do your job Congress and negotiate or keep the government closed forever.

Its everyones "fault". I liked Ben Shapiros suggestion in that they should just give border control agency a one time $5.2 billion boost in funding and let them determine what to do with the money. The agency will get the charge of spending it on a wall if that's what they feel is best for them.

Well, as I will always say, I am against the wall. And I have always thought Trump is a moderate Democrat calling himself a republican. But never the less, a wall is "genuine border security" since ever where there is a wall, less illegals are coming through that area.

Lets not forget, these are the same people that push for single payer systems for health care, which wont lower deaths in America. Everyone will die. And America already has the longest life expectancy in the world barring deaths by traumatic accidents and murder. If we took the left's approach to why we shouldn't build a wall, because they believe it wont be 100% effective, then we should apply that idea to every single other thing the government does. From wars in foreign lands, to spending money on global warming research and welfare expenses. Not a single thing has worked 100%, and in most cases, government intervention has worked in the opposite direction. The left are the people who still prop up government funding for the postal service even though it loses billions ever year. The left keeps funding Amtrak even though it loses Billions every year.

 

Good for McConnell. The Deviate Democrats were given a chance to negotiate. They wouldn't. No sense in wasting anytime on a bill that the President won't sign.

Funny how you forgot Harry Reid doing the same when the Demos didn't care about governing. Plus why should the country put up with more Demo failure. As that is all they bring to the country.
