You haven't been listening to the family and their lawyer and posters here. The police were supposed to just let him walk home or call his family to just come get him like they do with all DUI's then he wouldn't dead. OH and they were supposed to let him resist arrest and beat up the two officers handing over a TASER to him, standing there while he fired it at them so it would work this time and then let him run off.

Some TASERS are double shots and he had fully demonstrated that he would use a weapon on a police officer and had already demonstrated he would place any officer in threat of serious injury, rarely do you see someone signing their own death warrant more vividly.

He was a fleeing felon who had proved he was a danger to the public and the police willing use weapons to resist arrest, more than justification to use deadly force against him.

A police officer may not seize an unarmed, nondangerous suspect by shooting him dead...however...Where the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a threat of serious physical harm, either to the officer or to others, it is not constitutionally unreasonable to prevent escape by using deadly force.

Geez I just watched Paul Howard (D) Fulton County DA say he was very cooperative and answer the question and he did not seem to present any kind of threat to anyone and that it would escalate to his death was unreasonable/

WHAT!!!!! He ASSAULTED two police officers overpowering them, punching one in the face, grabbing one of their weapons then tried to flee and used a weapon on the officer. WHAT is this DA talking about. We can now all attack the police and try and get their weapons and use those weapons of the police and the DA will view that as being cooperative and reasonable?? I bet if the criminal were white he would NOT be making that case.

The Atlanta Police officer who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks at a Wendy's parking lot last week was charged with felony murder, and the other officer on scene was charged with aggravated assault, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced Wednesday.

    Brosnan has agreed to cooperate.

No reasonable jury will ever convict him when he shot at him when he turned. If he had got away with that taser and then injured someone else with it, they would have wanted to charge him for not stopping him.

There are a few hundred other law enforcement agencies in the US who would be glad to hire him.

Do you think that is not true. Most law enforcement agencies believe the shooting was justified and they would welcome someone with experience who they would not have the cost of sending him through a training course.

Riight.... That's why both Dems and Pubs are pushing a national data base for such cops.

He has not been convicted of being a "such cops". Many, including me, believe the shooting was justified.

    Spoiler:
You don't need to be convicted to make the problem cop list.

That problem cop list is still in the proposal stage. However, the judgement will have to be made by someone that they should be on the list and whether they are convicted or not convicted will go a long way towards making that determination.
