But of course. They had their marching orders to go and find someone, preferably black, passed out in their car, and to shoot them in their slumber. It's less risky than waking and attempting to arrest them.

I'm not sure that "let" is the right word. Maybe 'incite'?

    He could have...

If he hadn't been shot down for sleeping.

Not a personal attack. Though I can understand why having your circular arguments described in any vein would upset you.

Can you demonstrate they don't have orders to the contrary?

    Do you hunt?
When you go hunting do you take a rifle or shotgun?
Your intent i carrying the weapon is to...speak gently to the duck and coax him back into the water?
    Or to kill?

When all you have is a hammer...

    Wow! Freaking unbelievable.

If you can do better, become a cop. Maybe you would let some criminal kill you; in the name of justice and peace?

He was not shot down for sleeping. He was being arrested for ending up in a location drunk where any reasonable person would conclude that he drove there drunk. He was shot while resisting arrest.
Because they are personal, they are tiresome and add nothing to the conversation. And that will be the last one or you will be reported.

I sometimes go into the woods. There are numerous bears and other wild animals who will sometimes attack you. I sometimes carry a gun when I go into the woods because of that danger depending on the time of the year and on what has been seen or reported recently.. I do not go into the woods with the intent to kill anything. It is a precaution. Police respond similarly. The intent is not to kill, but is a precaution to avoid being killed.

I've had several encounters with police. I never assaulted them. I was never shot.

    Can you find the correlation?

Incorrect, a TASER incapacitates a person and if that person is a law enforcement officer that gives the person with the TASER access to the officers gun with can be deadly and for that reason officers are trained to shoot anyone who points a TASER at them, there is actually a warning in the TASER training manual not to point a TASER at a LEO because you will end up shot if you do.

Do not point the CEW at any law enforcement officer or do anything that would cause law enforcement officers to feel threatened by your use of the CEW.

Because the TASER CEW is able to temporarily incapacitate a person, law enforcement officers may be justified to use lethal force to protect
    themselves.

    https://www.defenseproducts101.com/taser-pulse-1/taser-pulse-owners-manual.html

TASER's can also be deadly and there is a warning about that in the manual as well.

TASER® ECDs are weapons designed to incapacitate a person from a safe distance while reducing the likelihood
of death or serious injury. Though they have been found to be a safer and more effective alternative when used
as directed to other traditional use of force tools and techniques, it is important to remember that the very
nature of use of force and physical incapacitation involves a degree of risk that someone will get hurt, or may
even be killed due to physical exertion, unforeseen circumstances and individual susceptibilities.

Not at all, however the law is clear, point a TASER at a LEO and he is legally justified in using deadly force to prevent you from firing it.

Yea real smart, let a armed person remain loose to attack another innocent person, that would expose the LEO to some serious liability, you really don't understand policing do you?

The police do not get to decide what a "reasonable person" would conclude. The Courts decide that. Of course, that never happened because the police decided to kill him.

With all the tools the police could have at their disposal why do you suppose the gun is ALWAYS the first option?
Why is that option so often used when dealing with Black people?

    Why the bloodlust?
What does killing these people achieve EXCEPT to reinforce the myth that the NEED to die?

Exaggerate much? There was NO reason to shoot a fleeing unarmed man in the back. They had his name and his car. They could have let the system deal with it

Truth be told many law enforcement officers would rather not carry a gun, they fully understand if they draw that gun and use it, their life is turned upside down and forever changed, sadly many of those outside of law enforcement have no clue what happens once a trigger is pulled and a person is shot.

    What, call an uber?

So you favor decriminalizing drunk driving?

You wouldn't be saying that if you where his next victim, it's quite obvious you clearly don't care about anyone other than yourself.

    His next victim?

    Who was the first?

Are we now asking police to kill people based on their perception of something that might happen some time in the future?

Wasn't there a movie like that? Minority Report?
