DENVER (CBS4)– A mother who gave birth in a Denver County Jail cell is suing the Denver Sheriff Department and Denver Health Medical Center. Diana Sanchez claims her rights were violated. --- If a woman can give birth to a baby all alone in a jail cell then why the hell do doctors charge so much to deliver a baby?
Liability. Because people sue doctors for 10s of millions of dollars if anything goes wrong during childbirth. If you think delivering a baby costs too much, go bitch at a lawyer. And if you think it's doctors who set the prices of their services, than you seriously don't understand how modern American healthcare operates.
I understand and know what happens when the government and lawyers get involved in anything. I was born at home and the doc charged my parents $50 which they had saved up so they could pay cash in full.
