The coming blue sweep this fall may make it happen as early as next year.

    I favor M4A
It will be cheaper per capita then anything. It is everywhere else that has it. The public option will need to be highly subsidized and Medicaid, ChIPs etc will still have to be in place. M4A eliminates all the subsidy programs.

But the public option has the best chance of getting passed. It’s simply about the votes needed to cover more people. Like always, the majority public prefers M4A. The GOP though always looks out for their donors first. They’ll try to fk up everything.

But just like the GOP raised the retirement mandated contributions for the post office, any government plan, the gop will increase the costs to the taxpayer beyond reason. They are doing it now with Medicare and Medicaid drug prices by forcing them to pay non negotiated prices. Canada pays less for OUR drugs made here, then what we pay for drugs from American drug companies. All because of the gop.

That above will be part of the reason for the coming blue sweep.

Here is hoping that the blue team does something with their foreseen majority.

Yeah, look what they did when Obama was in office. Hard to get any lower than raising critical meds prices 1200% on the elderly and those who can't afford it (being almost everyone). That was just a stroke of pure empathic genius there. Still makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, eh?

Your meds went up 17% last year and going up 20% this year. Is that Obama’s fault ? We’re now under Trump care for three years. Nope, they campaigned on repeal and replace three and a half years ago, had all the houses and Sc and now they just don’t have the house. They’ve done what for healthcare ? So Obama has been raising prices while the gop had full control...that’s incompetence. Feeling warm and fuzzy about the 10 th gop recession of the last 11 ?

I'm sorry, but you'll have to provide me with citations for each of your comments, please. I promise to reply.

So what you do is what we do

You keep Medicare as a BASIC coverage. If you need something sudden “boom” you get it no worries no fuss BUT if you want something elective or semi elective or don’t want to wait on a waiting list then you pay into private and get a tax rebate

Your meds may have gone up, but over here mine have not, other than when the ACA kicked in.

So you are saying taxpayers should be funding something elective, like a breast enhancement, liposuction, butt lifts, etc.?

That's some really screwed up thinking.

He can't provide any citations for the "facts" he has posted, I'm thinking. My opinions are just that -- opinions. You can quote me on my opinions. If you do, thanks. o_O

Looks like ... mmm ... about 1200% on average increase in 2 years under Obama. However, if come up with more specific numbers, say 1197%, you'd win! LOL.
