Medicine cost in US

    Is your medicine prizes higher or lower compared to Canada or EU ?

    Do you have cap system too?

    With cap I mean: If your medicine bill (total/year) is 572€, after that you pay only 2,5€ each time / medicine (in Finland)

    Addition to that (above): after you pay 50€ (total), you get at least 40% discount from any drugs.

    It depends on your particular health plan, the pharmacy and the medication. I have some medications that are free, others that cost $10 a month, etc. Overall, the 7 prescription medications I take cost a little more than $30 for a 3 month supply.

    My drugs are free because they are all generic and covered by my medicare supplement plan.
