This just seems like another tabloid attempt to spin up more hatred of her. Her full name is on her Wikipedia page and doesn't seem to be a recent edit and at the time the birth was registered, "Princess of the United Kingdom" probably was the correct term for her "occupation".

The main question is what do you personally want to buy in to this hate her so much? Why care about her either way?

It is a forum and if people put in their viewpoints then they expect people's response. If that is the thing that makes that person the most angry then I think that is quite sad and people do get affected by what people write and say. People have even committed suicide over it. It certainly was one of the things which was making Megan and Harry very unhappy. If the only way you can feel good about yourself is to put others down then the message should be to yourself.

 

I don't think we can be responsible for someone committing suicide but I understand your point. Personal slander against a fellow-member in a discussion forum is forbidden but slandering a public figure who isn't on the discussion I think is OK. Look at all of the flack Trump and Hillary have taken. Fair game, thinks I.

People have committed suicide because of how they have been affected by social media. We had one celebrity doing that and lots of other people have done it too partlicularly kids. You were wrong when you said putting hateful things about people did no harm. You are the one who is making this something it is not. If someone wants to degrade someone on a political forum then it is people's right to reply what they think of their nonsense. You claimed that said poster had a problem and needed to vent and presumably this person was the person he needed to vent about. You have a problem with it. You believed I had no right to give my honest opinion to what was said. Quit this now.

As I said, the OP clearly hates her (or was trolling to that effect) and you appeared to be in total support of them. My question remains why do you care in any way about what the couple does or says?

Generally it's either for entertainment, with something light-hearted and positive or it's a vain attempt to help improve something that has real potential impact on people, even if it's a tiny drop in the ocean.

 

So what? Actors change their names all the time, as do writers, artists, singers, etc. Why is this a big deal, and why do you seem to hate her, enough to start this thread?

Sure. My own father was a racist, born and bred in Texas. He was raised with racist views. My brothers, mother, and I pointed that out to him on a regular basis, until after years of it, he gradually understood how he sounded to others and began taking people individually without the preconceived notions based on skin color. I've always admired him for that, for owning up to it and for changing. He was much happier for it, too. Hatred is a heavy weight to bear.
