Remember CRT? It's faded from the news lately. But I suspect it will be making a comeback the closer we get to the midterms. It will be used by Repubs as one of the social wedge issues they so dearly love and so heavily lean on in the absence of an interest in policies to make the country stronger.

Nobody has forgotten the Virginia governor (who lost to a Republican) claiming parents have no right to determine what their kids are taught in school.
Nobody has forgotten the DOJ claims of parents in PTA meetings classified as domestic terrorist.
Nobody has forgotten how hard the left fought for CRT being taught in school

I do remember CRT, and no one in our area has forgotten it because it has not faded from the news - the local NBC affiliate was talking about just this morning. Of course, we also have Leftists like you talking about it on social media platforms and Leftist educators insisting on pushing its tenets and narratives in K-12 schools, so you all are doing a wonderful job of keeping this issue from fading from the news.

Now, if you and your comrades don't want to talk about CRT then stop talking about it and stop trying to push it in K-12 schools, and you can thank Republicans for helping you regarding the latter. Finally, if you want your Dear Leader Joe Biden and his fellow travelers in the Democratik Party to improve their nosediving approval ratings with the American people, tell them to start focusing on the issues that are important to the American people instead of focusing on what's important to the Democratik Party.

As for what the hacks at MSNPC think, I couldn't care less, and since Martin Luther King, Jr. never had the opportunity to discuss the racist Neo-Marxist hate propaganda that Leftists are so fond of these days (CRT) we can only speculate what he would have said. On the other hand, some of Dr. King's associates, such as his chief of staff Wyatt Walker (pictured with MLK below), have had an opportunity to express their assessment of Critical Race Theory:

    WTW MLK.jpg

The Civil Rights Legend Who Opposed Critical Race Theory
    By Steve Klinsky
    October 12, 2020

In 2015, Dr. Walker and I co-authored an essay about education reform and race relations, where we wrote:

"Today, too many ‘remedies’ -- such as Critical Race Theory, the increasingly fashionable post-Marxist/postmodernist approach that analyzes society as institutional group power structures rather than on a spiritual or one-to-one human level -- are taking us in the wrong direction: separating even elementary school children into explicit racial groups, and emphasizing differences instead of similarities..."

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...who_opposed_critical_race_theory_144423.html#!

And as we all know, the Leftists who support and promote the racist offspring of Marxist Critical Theory want to take us in the wrong direction and poison the minds of children for their own personal, political and ideological self-aggrandizement. :boo:

we already did it's called affirmative action. There are no longer laws on the books that keep black people from voting. There haven't been for about forty years or so.
The current nonsense erroneously called a voting rights bill is no such thing and arguably unconstitutional into the bargain.

McAuliffe correctly said........"I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach." Maybe you want parents in heavily Repub school districts to have faculty teach the Big Lie is the truth. I don't.

"Nobody has forgotten the DOJ claims of parents in PTA meetings classified as domestic terrorist." Maybe you want nutbags at school board meetings to get away with threats of violence. I don't.

As always you're wrong about everything. Even the attempts to deflect away from the subject of the thread. Which is the hijacking of MLK's words.

Did you have some information where any parent was requesting this? No?
Then you just make it up.
Like it or not, Tax paying Parents have EVERY right to know whats being taught to their kids even when idiotic statements about something that never happened tries to deflect from the real issue. Which is a big reason why he lost.
But I hope people on the left like yourself keeps promoting parents have no rights because of the Big Lie. Help yourself. lol

You mean nutbags trying to classify PTA parents as domestic terrorist?
When you find parents bombing meetings, killing teachers, or arriving with a bomb strapped to themselves, you let us all know.
Until then, PLEASE PLEASE continue to try and classify parents as domestic terrorist.
    I DARE YOU

So thousands of parents across the US are all wrong because you said so.
Sorry, I going with the parents on this one.

And maybe you should wake up instead of just pushing leftist fake claims
Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo reported that 30 public school districts in 15 states are teaching a book, Not My Idea, A CRT teaching
In Cupertino, California, an elementary school required third graders to rank themselves according to the “power and privilege” associated with their ethnicities.

Schools in Buffalo, New York, taught students that “all white people” perpetuate “systemic racism” and had kindergarteners watch a video of dead black children, warning them about “racist police and state-sanctioned violence.”

And in Arizona, the state’s education department sent out an “equity toolkit” to schools that claimed infants as young as 3 months old can start to show signs of racism and “remain strongly biased in favor of whiteness” by age 5.

If that’s not enough evidence, the nation’s largest teachers union outright endorsed the teaching of CRT to public school students in an agenda item it passed last week. The National Education Association vowed to “share and publicize” information “already available on Critical Race Theory — what it is and what it is not” and fight back against legislation that would ban CRT from school curricula.

If CRT isn't being taught, why is the left against banning its teaching and fighting to keep it?

I'm wrong about the OP huh
You mean the part that says

So whos wrong again? Seems you don't even know what thread you are in.

And nobody will forget the anti mask mandate when kids end up in the hospital and teachers get sick
What do you call people that threaten the lives of school board members? "Concerned citizens"?
Nobody fought for CRT being taught in schools and it didn't happen. A made up "crisis".

    So what's the guarantee?

What issues would those be because the Republican party hasn't got a platform or policies to refer to.

You let us know when all these healthy kids are getting sick. Then we can have the discussion since it hasn't happened since Covid hit the US

We call it made up fake outrage as you have no such threats. And even if a parent did, its a state problem.

The nation’s largest teachers union endorsed the teaching of CRT to public school students in an agenda item it passed last week. The National Education Association vowed to “share and publicize” information “already available on Critical Race Theory — what it is and what it is not” and fight back against legislation that would ban CRT from school curricula.

If they don't support it, why are they fighting to keep it?

The guarantee is the more the left wants to label parents as domestic terrorist, tell them they have no rights to know what their kids are taught in school, and lie about how CRT is being pushed and defended by the left, the less people will vote for them.

For starters, the same thing Demokrats ignored back in 2009 when they last controlled both Congress and the White House - the economy.

    Ignorance is not a virtue.

Did you miss the part of the news cycle when the Albemarle County School Board was sued by parents over the alleged teaching of CRT?

You mean the lawsuit that claims the school board has been indoctrinating their students with critical race theory, which in turn violates the rights of students and parents under the Virginia Commonwealth constitution.
    Yeah, everyone knows about it

How much more "special" do we have to do and what exactly is the "something" that hasn't already been given? How does teaching the falsehoods of CRT become something "special" for the negro?

It's a quote from 1968. The point being MLK recognized the centuries long systemic racism against blacks and thought it perfectly appropriate to have remedies for it.

First you tried to claim they want the Big Lies taught in schools.
    Which is a fake claim
Now you claim they are morons for holding the school accountable for teaching CRT.

But had you any knowledge of the lawsuit, instead of just your own made up claims, you would have known the Albemarle School District introduced their pilot program during this past 2020-21 school year and one of the students attached to the lawsuit took part in it. The school district has even announced that there are plans in the works to expand this teaching across all school levels in the future.

So who are the morons? The ones stopping the teaching of CRT or the ones that say it doesn't exist when the school admits it.

Oh, so now these are all hypotheticals?
Spare us all. Those aren't hypotheticals, just fake outrage comments for lack of the ability to post actual information.
    MEANING
NOTHING I posted could lead you to assume I wanted the faculty to teach the Big Lie
NOTHING I posted could lead you to assume I wanted I want anyone to get away with threats
NOTHING I posted could lead you to assume I wanted anyone spreading disinformation

They are just fake comments showing a lack of actual awareness.

You mean like I did in post 7 that you still haven't even attempted to dispute because you have no ability to do so?[/QUOTE]

Yes I know when it was said, it is not 2022 and we have spent hundreds of billions if not more than a trillion and had all sorts of special programs.

    So again

How much more "special" do we have to do and what exactly is the "something" that hasn't already been given? How does teaching the falsehoods of CRT become something "special" for the negro?

So 8 million kids getting covid is "nothing"? 1 in 10 have tested postive. Let me know what your over/under number is for your concern.
No, fake outrage is the right with CRT. Up in arms over something not even taught. To say that there have been "no such threats" is to deny reality but that's the right's "move". Climate change, not happening, it snowed. Racism in America, there is none and if there is, it's against whites. Gay rights, no way should people with an obvious mental illness be given rights. And on and on. And then to hedge your statement....."it's a state problem".
They are saying it SHOULD be taught, that's why the endorse it and endorse educating the public to what it REALLY is and not the bogey man you think it is. Your "move".
No, what's guaranteed is that people like you, who wouldn't vote for them anyway, still won't vote for them. And the statement of "no rights to know what their kids are taught in school" is a made up statement and not what was said in the debate and to take to the other extreme the right has a proposal for parents to be able to watch and listen in and to comment during school. Let me know when that happens at your job.

Finally we agree. You did post disinformation about CRT.
"NOTHING I posted could lead you to assume I wanted the faculty to teach the Big Lie." You implied parents have the right to determine what their kids are taught in school. It's plausible that parents in a heavily Repub school district would want to have faculty teach the Big Lie is the truth. Since they think it is.
"NOTHING I posted could lead you to assume I wanted I want anyone to get away with threats." Yet you are critical of Garland taking the threats made against school officials seriously.

You seem especially agitated and confused about your own positions today.

8 million kids getting Covid yet they aren't dying by the thousands? Seems your Covid fears for child survival rate of 99.82% is another fake outrage claim.

Sorry, thats already been debunked. Even the lawsuit in Virginia shows the school board defending the CRT curriculum they are teaching.
You're going to need a new fake outrage claim as this one got slapped down months ago.

Already debunked. But leave it to the left to come up with the idiotic idea, they are defending something they have never taught before. :roflol:

That one statement alone shows how unaware you really are. Virginia is a majority Democrat state. The only way for a Democrat to lose in that state is by losing Independent and Democrat voters
