The greatest threat to America is not Trump, ISIS or any other terrorism, Americas biggest threat to democracy is Liberalism.

    Funny old thing Liberalism.
It comes from The Liberal Party. Which at the time was the second (or first) party in British parliament. Liberals vs Conservatives.

Often considered to be the antithesis of socialism, (individualism vs collectivism), the Liberals pretty much conquered the world. 2/3 of it under their flag at one time.

Now Americans associate the word with their own party. Modern day British associate the word with an entirely different Liberal Democrat party.
And the word is often used in contempt for those political parties rather than the political ideology coined after that name.
Fascists however, and communists too, know what a Liberal Democracy is, and boy don't they like it.

You've got me there, I do rather take in interest in politics solely for my entertainment. It's a way of passing the time.

The different interpretations of liberal are disconcerting for a non US voter.
    2. (often initial capital letter) noting or pertaining to a political party advocating measures of progressive political reform. 3. of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism, especially the freedom of the individual and governmental guarantees of individual rights and liberties.

Liberals have perverted the definition of Liberalism. Democrat/Liberals need to rename their party that more reflects their socialist views.

Socialism is another broad meaninged word too. One that means different things to different people.

Hitler was one. Possible the world most famous and Lol influential, socialist.
But socialists like to brand fascism as conservative. For the obvious reasons that no one wants Hitler on their record.

I would also describe UK Liberal Democrats as socialists.
They are liberal on a few things however. Right up for rights of the individuals on stuff like terrorism laws and censorship.
