People looking for racism will always find it. I don't think there's a person in the country who thought twice about Melania's dress other than she looked great in it. Not only can I not believe this writer's editor let this story go through, but it's from a fashion columnist; everyone is jumping on board the race train. This is why this country is divided along racial lines, it's because people see racism in everything and anything and then use it to usually attack conservatives. Let's see what the hustlers say if Obama or Sanders wear a black suit at the DNC.
Eh. I suspect that the author of that piece wasn't so much looking for actual racism, as using it as a platform to expound on his view that the woman wearing it is racist. It's sort of like saying, "Mistress Fabulosa's black dress is a subliminal message of her black heart." They aren't actually saying that the dress is racist, just that the GoP is racist (and I do, personally, believe that most racists are Republicans, though most Republicans are not racists). Of course, talking about what dress a politician's relation is wearing is silly anyways. Who cares?
It is truly ridiculous that anyone is making an issue out of this. Melania looked flawless. So beautiful. It is totally idiotic that somebody would make political hay out of her ensemble. Even reading a plagiarized speech and the fact that her husband is a sure loser in November shouldn't detract from her fabulousness.
