The History Channel must be purged of white supremacy.

You know how many pictures of Hitler those fascists have?

No, I am not saying it would invade. I am saying the probability of it doing so was very high.
I "believe" it would be a failure of the Soviet's core tenants not to seize as much of Europe
as it could. It did strike Poland, Finland and the Baltics. It did establish its control over Eastern
Europe - and was prepared to go to war to defend the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. It
controlled these nations with brutality. It sought to destabilize "Capitalist" nations. I propped up
indigenous Communist/Socialist parties. It exploited "peace" movements. In short, Russia did
an awful lot to turn other countries into little Russia - why not just pick them off during WWII?
Why not just "liberate" France by chasing down German occupiers who had probably already
surrendered with the fall of Hitler? And Belgium too, and support the Dutch Communists etc..
It's the nature of power - Machiavellian and Communist power.

Still waiting for an explanation of how the USSR would invade Britain. Feel free to start any time. Thus far you are just spluttering & arm waving because it is pretty clear you don't have the slightest idea what is required. You are basically at the level of using magic at this point.

Complex things always seem easier when you literally don't have the first clue how they work.

Okay. This is about probabilities, not possibilities.
Imagine there's no Peal Harbor. America is not involved in WWII.
Stalingrad was Germany's first defeat - then came Moscow, Karkov
Kursk etc. After Bagratian there was nothing to stop Stalin marching
    on to Berlin.
So imagine Berlin is in Soviet hands, Hitler is dead. But German
forces occupy all of Western Europe. Then it's a simple matter for
Stalin to "liberate" the low countries and France from German forces
and establish Communist parties in each country. Stalin simply would
not want these occupying German forces to start trudging home - he
needs to show that he won the false freedom.
Thus the Soviets control the entire continent, including north Africa,
probably. Why not? That's not just Stalin's nature, it's Communist's
nature if you will - world revolution, global Communism etc..
And there sits little England - Capitalist, Imperialist, Monarchist,
Protestant Christian - oppressing the working class, friend of the
Great Satan and a potential threat to long term control of Europe
as it could become an unsinkable American aircraft carrier. It's tempting
and possibly urgent to "urge" England to come to terms with Russia.
Taking England is thus strategic, ideological, easy and tempting.
