And i do acknowledge both Men AND Women are both capable and do the most horrendous things. But its not confined to one gender , focusing one gender and ignoring the other is ridiculous and idiotic.

You can throw statistics thar men are more violent and i can throw statistics back the women are more likely to abuse children.

It just goes around in circles, both are capable and do do it. Therefore its not a gender issue, its a humanity issue.

There is no tit for tat here. The statistics are staggering.

Go back to complaining about women not catching spiders. That's about the level of erudition, right? Or go back to your "If women were so great" thread. Because O, how great you silly anti-feminists are... in your own silly minds.

The statistics are glaring but you conveniently ignore them. (because men are so great, right? And women not so great - according to you)

It IS a gender issue. Did you glaze over the numbers?!

195 murdering men. 35 murdering women.

Do you need me to teach you maths or what?!

"DHHS data in the UK shows that of children abused by one parent between 2001 and 2006, 70.6 per cent were abused by their mothers, 29.4 per cent were abused by their fathers."

"Breaking the silence, for instance, says 71 per cent of children killed by one parent are killed by their mothers, 60 per cent of those victims are boys"

Do your maths, i suppose women abusing children doesn't matter you.

"The truth about violence is that it has more connection to morality than gender." I agree with this quote completly violence is not a gender issue its a humanity issue.

Male construction workers have more fights with male firefighters than women construction workers ....Women are with the children all the time and men aren’t. if men were around children 24 seven I wonder what the statistics would be

So your saying these women are murdering their babies not because they are evil people but because you belive its because they are stay at home mums?

    Not buying it mate....

This gender ralated violence is a load of ****. There are bad men and bad women, so say one gender is inherently more evil that the other is stupid.

Nah its clear child abuse is not important to you if its commited by a woman.

Clearly you would take it seriously if it was.

Elsewhere in this section, someone’s moaning that women aren’t as great as men because men make lots of stuff.

One thing they 'make' is the predominance of violence/murders in the world.

Just to take one man alone – that murdered 58 people in Las Vegas. Now imagine if each murdered person at a minimum had 20 close people to them. On top of the shocking loss of life - think of the tragic shock waves of 1200 people being tragically affected/altered by the death of those close to them.

Yeah, a man MADE that (!)

If it were women committing the predominance of mass murders, the anti-feminists here would be trying to burn them at the stake (!)

But no. They focus on trite things like women are awful and KKK and blah blah blah because they don’t catch their own spiders and because they don’t want to be garbage collectors (!)

“Mass Shooters Are All Different. Except for One Thing: Most Are Men.”

Women wanted equality not you have it, if a man hits you then hit him back, if he rapes you fight back and if your not able to then your going to be his bitch until he's done I don't see any reason this is the mans issue some men are bad and most decent I wouldn't hit a woman and rape her but wouldn't feel the need to offer any protection to them either since your on par with men now. You can't have it both ways want to be treated equal and also demand chivalry and protection any more than a man might afford another man which is to say not much. I'm in a power wheelchair when out my only defense from other men is hurting a man whose disabled is weak to other men even if a criminal scum but hitting on a woman whose fit tends to draw similar consideration but its not a full proof shield.

Of course it's a gender issue. Men commit double the child murders in this country. Stats posted above.

I mean, most mass murderers are men - but is that just a coincidence to you that they're all mostly men?!!

Staring you in the face but you won't look.

No, not gender, it's their morality, according to you.

I know you're incredibly invested in holding men way up high above women, but seriously, your denial is ridiculous.

Your post made me sick. And then it made me sad.

I hope you don't have daughters, is all I can say.

Conflating women and equality with "too bad if you're hit or raped" is vindictive, horrible and sick on so many levels.

Hold on a minute its simply not true.... its not a gender issue.

If statistics prove that blacks commit violent crime at a higher ratio than whites then is it a race issue and blacks that are the problem?

I just dont believe it, race, gender, no.... its a mortality issue. You are wrong to poont your finger at certain groups and point the finger.

Can't say i ageee with this....

Rape and violence are wrong, you cannot put it on the victim and say they should of defended themself.

As for stepping in and trying to stop somthing bad happening, id like to think i woukd treat every person the same and try and help. Its in my nature too.

Feminisms hatered and demonisation of men is equivalent to the KKK's hatred of Blacks.

So men are being asked to stand against violence against women? Isn’t that sexist? I mean, women cannot stand against it?

Women shouldn’t demand chivalry and when you talk about needing protection, who do we need protection from? And you are right most men are not rapists but most rapists are men

The men I know don’t have to be asked to stand against violence against women and they certainly don’t see it as sexist. That’s your issue, not theirs

Well men will continue to run to the rescue of women. No matter how much equality women have they will only choose what they want to be equal in.

Well, I agree, women have the right not to be abused. I think it's the responsibility of people in general to stand up against it. And men marching against the abuse if women is hard to be against.

That being said, men are marching against this, to show their support and solidarity with and for women. That's men having an opinion. That's men taking action. I think getting men on your side is the best way to enact change. So it's probably not a good idea to talk down to them for being men. So a bit of advice is ask if they are pro female abuse. Believe it or not, among men it's seen as unmanly to abuse women. Boys are raised to protect women which is why this march consists of a thousand men.

I'd offer a bit more advice, it's a waste of breath to argue with the whataboutism of these people.

I absolutely support stopping violence against women. That doesn't mean I'm not against stopping violence against black people, men, children, or transgender people. Each group can have their own March and I'd support each the same... Except children and disabled people, if support them much more because the must have advocacy.

I imagine you feel the same way to a large degree.

I'd consider it more of an instinct that men protect women. It may not be as necessary now as it used to be, but this instinct is how women obtain equality. I think a big problem with feminism is that it over looks this.

Take for instance women's suffrage. Women wanted the right to vote without having to sign up for the selective service. It wasn't until they decided to work with men that they accomplished that. Feminists want to frame it as though they dominated men and the truth is men who were in charge as well as other men who weren't thought that it was reasonable.

Depends on which country. In the United States women aren't required to sign up for selective service.

Women also have the right to opt out of being a responsible parent after conception and men do not.

It's not a right, but it is a privilege women enjoy that they have the ability to have their complaints taken seriously.

Feminists don't post here because they routinely have their ass handed to them. I doubt non feminist women care about much of this considering in western culture women tend to enjoy equality.

Could you please explain to me how the following statistics are a morality issue and not a gender issue:

    Total Australians Murdered in 2018

Number of people allegedly killed by men 195
Number of people allegedly killed by women 35

It is a combination of instinct to protect women and guys just wanting to get laid. Or not hurting their chances of getting laid.
