You're aware that Obama enacted a travel ban, right? Travel bans are constitutional as well. Lower courts have put a injunction on Trump's travel ban, due to his campaign rhetoric. The lower courts have overstepped their bounds, and this will be over turned at the USSC.

The effort to undermine American confidence in the system has come from Russia and Trump himself. I doubt the Russians changed any ballots, but they didn't have to.. Trump has claimed the election was rigged against him and that 5 million illegal aliens voted.

Trump won't have much impact on domestic policy, but he will have impact on foreign policy. Drastic changes in our relationship with our Allies is more damaging than Bush's cowboy approach.

Trump is right about our so called allies. They're not living up to their obligations. So it's time for the Europeans to either do their part, like they're obligated to do, or go on their own way. It's as simple as that.

I find it hard to believe that Macron and Merkel coordinated their efforts, though. Although it's certainly possible.

I doubt the Trump is barely even aware of the effect his behavior had. He made a fool of himself on the world stage, and he insulted and alienated American's oldest and most reliable allies. All for basically nothing more than the entertainment of his knuckle dragging US political base.

What is there to disagree about? Western Europe has lived pretty damn comfortable under the protection of American for a long time. Why do we need to spend money on their defense, and expect so little in return?
NATO ceased to be relevant after the the fall of the Soviets, and has been a crutch for Europe ever since. We need to pull out of NATO, and let Merkel build her little EU army, and be done with it.

The President demanded that Germany and other NATO countries seriously ramp up their military spending - and in response and full submission Merkel runs to the cameras demanding that NATO countries in Europe built up self-sufficient military strength - EXACTLY AS TRUMP DEMANDED!

It appears President Trump has obtained his goal - getting NATO countries to build up their own military. It is called SUCCESS!
