It's amazing how little we know about each other. Our media rarely reports on what goes on north and south of our borders. And the Hispanic outlets like Univision and Azteca seem to be far-left in the political opinions. While there are a few minor things I disagree in this piece, I think it's well-worth reading @ http://mexiconewsdaily.com/opinion/mexico-us-canada-little-understanding/

They just don't wish to understand America is The Best!
    Not perfect but, The Best.

I do credit Mexico with making better Coca Cola than America today. I pay extra for it.
( Sugar, not Corn Syrup ) And it has the taste one expects from Coca Cola.
It you are :oldman: enough to remember, "the real thing".

If they wish to behave as good Americans, I got no problem with that.
That means Canadians have to drop the unnecessary "u" in their unique spelling.
Mexicans better comprende and the world would be a better place.

    Oh and No Metric

    54' 40" is :flagus:
Across an immense, unguarded, ethereal border, Canadians, cool and unsympathetic,
regard our America with envious eyes and slowly and surely draw their plans against us.

Longknife....... have you viewed the documentary "Cartel Land?"

    http://www.politicalforum.com/current-events/449323-donald-trump-campaign-film-cartel-land.html
The Donald Trump campaign and the film "Cartel Land."
Drug cartels seem to have a great deal of power over the elected officials in Mexico.

If...… The Donald's supporters will view this film and become more well informed a lot of good things could result from this.

For one thing..... this could put pressure on Mexico that results in the release of Dr. Jose Mireles!

My wife is from Ecuador and I would love to see The Donald come out with a plan to significantly INCREASE LEGAL immigration from Mexico and South America after that wall is built.

This might be a great way to steal much of the thunder that his opponents seem to have at this time?

Well over ninety percent of my ideas on world events are based on books, articles or films that were "Made in America!"

Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong did a good job of getting me interested in world events.

There is no doubt that Mexico is in the hands of the drug cartels. Public officials fear for their lives and, in many cases, the cartels provide for the people in their areas more than the government does.

The ONLY way to destroy the cartels is to dry up their source of income. Make drugs - all drugs - legal here in the USA and control their qualities and the cartels will simply crumble.
