The transcript 100% exonerates him. Then with the sworn statement by Shokin. The statement by the Ukrainian President. The Statement by the Ambassador all backing up Trump makes anything the Democrats think they have as empty.

But...we know... we know... THIS IS IT!!!!

I bet you were all in on Trump Russia Collusion too?

There seems to be a lot of ''my truth' going on rather than anything factual, and the left seems to be relying on that a lot. It makes debate difficult..

It's funny, that's exactly what it looks like from the other side too. It's always tempting to think the other side is being dishonest when the arguments seem to make no sense, but if we're all being honest then that's really interesting and puzzling.

Shokin's statement was part of his deposition in support of his friend Dmitry Firtash's plea, in an Austrian court, to avoid extradition to the United States on violations of the Foreign Business Practices Act, regarding fraudulent bidding processes (bribes) in conjunction with a Boeing Aircraft Company purchase of titanium. Firtash, after being arrested by Austrian authorities, is now out on a $125 million bail (the largest bail in Austrian history). Firtash was a pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch who was given a grant by former pro-Russian Ukrainian Presidents to collect a "fee" based on the value of Russian natural gas, passing through Ukraine pipelines and to Western European purchasers. Portions of the "fee" were then "kicked-back" to various Ukrainian and Russian oligarchs/politicians. This was one of the reasons the U.S., the EU and the IMF wanted Shokin gone prior to furnishing aid.
IOW, ANYTHING testified to by Shokin is highly dubious, given his connections with the pro-Russian Ukrainians.
Anyhow...with the arrest of four of Rudy's "associates," much more is going to come out regarding Rudy's activities in Ukraine, with pro-Putin people. The House of Cards is beginning to collapse.
Oh yeah...Firtash was also involved, through an associate, with Cambridge Analytica and its parent company SCL Group.

But he blew it, as he did in the tel-con with "though." This time it was his preface of "the whole nonsense." But, he's also made numerous other remarks indicating that he believes the Mueller Report was part of what he refers to as a "Witch Hunt." As long as he thought that "Barr fooled them," with the Barr "summary," etc., he claimed the report exonerated him on ALL counts. After the entire report had been out for awhile and people read it and realized that it did NOT exonerate him, he changed his tune to it being just another part of the "Witch Hunt." He's beginning to twist in the wind and he hasn't made enough friends to lift him long enough to cut the rope. He's hanging himself.
And Mueller did OK. For one thing, he's not an "entertainer." He's a good prosecutor and law enforcement professional. For another, with all of the "what page is that?" "Could you repeat your question"? Etc., he spoiled the Republican "shoot-down" and reduced his actual testimony by about half.

And Durham is fearless so Dems are desperate.

Quid pro nothing: Trump accusers don’t care about the facts.

Mulvaney simply stated that the administration was doing what it should — pushing a foreign government to cooperate in getting to the bottom of foreign interference in the 2016 campaign. That's what scares the Democrats, THEY are at the bottom of foreign interference in the 2016 campaign.

The fact that Zelensky didn’t know the aid had been frozen is a giant hole in the impeachment case and the “quid pro quo” charge. Indeed, when US diplomat Karl Volker made that point in testimony the other day, Rep. Adam Schiff complained, “Ambassador, you’re making this much more complicated than it has to be.”

Facts, as another president once noted, are stubborn things.

Not this president. The Durham report will be interesting to read. When is it expected to be completed?

Yes, he didn’t do a good job, but it was great when he came back and correct the dem senator that was misstating his answers

No...Mueller didn't think it was "nonsense." You must have missed the hearing and the report.

It's complete but is going through a security process. Maria Bartiromo said it would be ready today but that obviously didn't happen but it could mean it's some time soon.

Understand for the left it's not whether the accusation is true or not, it's the seriousness of the allegation. They'll be lucky if they're only imprisoned for conspiracy, their actions seem quite treasonous and could possibly be executed in Leavenworth

Great point. Make the allegations as serious as possible despite the lack of any evidence. It plays well to the severely gullible. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v...d_by_accusing_president_trump_of_treason.html

He asked about the Durham report, not the IG report on the exact same topic . You guys need to keep your bogus investigations straight...

Durham is getting to jet around the world on the taxpayers dime, probably seeing some really wonderful locations.... We won't see his report until he's been to Maui and Fiji...

Big day over there... I'm reading up on what the Letwin amendment is, but it sounds like what would happen if Lindsey Graham opposed a Trump initiative (if I may), although probably not with the personal connections...

Do you think a Brexit vote would pass again today, or was 2016 just a bad year for voting worldwide? It sure as hell was for the US...

I see the Yes Brexit won by just under 1.3 million...

My thinking is Trump likes Johnson so Johnson is bad, since Trump is always wrong...

Yes, very important day, but the Letwin amendment is more like Susan Collins opposing Trump- Letwin is not a hardcore Brexiter. Hard to say about what would happen with a 2nd vote though I think most recent polls have put remain slightly ahead.

Johnson is indeed awful- completely shameless, no loyalty to others, a blatant liar. I think he learned from Trump that when one repeats a blatant lie often and confidently, enough people will believe it to muddy the waters and give you some advantage. Between the 2 of them, i’ve never been so depressed about politics. It’s one thing to hate the other side, as bad as that is, but this deliberate shredding of democratic norms, the blatant and obvious lying presented as truth, and the sometimes not-so-subtle invitations to violence and complete demonisation of the ‘enemy’ (that’s happening in the UK too) is genuinely worrying. God knows where it’s all going to lead.

Well, I didn't mean to depress you.... :)

I can just point out that, while we are likely stuck with Trump for another 15 months (that doesn't sound TOO bad), the 2018 midterms showed that America in general rejected Trumpism and those that support it... 9.7 million more votes Nationwide in Congressional races and plus 41 seats.. Not to mention all the "young" Republicans already announcing retirement before the next election.

Now, we just need to make sure enough of those voters are in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pa...

Keep us posted.. Sounds like a vote is near...

    SNIP
BREAKING: Setback for Johnson as Letwin amendment passes

MPs have supported the Letwin amendment, which delays a decision on Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal and rules out a no-deal Brexit on October 31.

It’s a big defeat for Boris Johnson, who may now pull the vote on his Brexit deal later today.

The Prime Minister is now also forced to seek an extension to Brexit tonight.

Well, I’ll believe it when I see it. The extent of Trump’s shamelessness gives him a real advantage over almost everyone else.
