It does not matter. The main thing is that there are no problems in Russia. Is not it?

Pirating modern software is hard because it actually connects to the company's servers over the internet and can be bricked, that is it's shut down.

You might say that open source software is a good replacement, but in recent years there's been a growing movement to take into account ethics and morality when deciding whether someone can use that software or not. So, yes, eventually the open source community will be out to brick their software too.

I understand a shovel full of manure is worth more than a ruble?

Manure as fertilizer is good for gardens.

I guess Russians can still use rubles as rollpaper for snorting krokodil?

Russian rubles are needed in order to buy gasoline, food, clothing, pay utility bills....etc. Prices for all these goods in Russia have not changed.
Why would they buy dollars? Especially considering the fact that Russia has abolished taxation on the purchase of physical gold for individuals. This is if someone wants to convert rubles. Gold is the best for this.
Turkish, Thai and Egyptian resorts accept payments in rubles, Chinese manufacturers of goods also accept payments in rubles .... Why do Russians need dollars?

    Great!
We will keep killing Russian economy. Death by 1,000 cuts! Every day western companies are leaving Russia with employees joining the ranks for unemployed. McDonald’s alone is 60,000 jobs.

I get the impression that you live on the moon. I hope you have not forgotten the Russian language. Read what happens to those companies that want to leave Russia.
Take your McDonalds for example. The government has already allocated funds to repurpose ALL McDonald's outlets. They now operate as a Russian fast food chain. They sell various fast food dishes traditional for the peoples of Russia (pancakes, shawarma, pies, pasties ..... and a bunch of everything) ALL jobs are saved.
As for other enterprises that stopped working in Russia, their staff went on PAID leave. Those enterprises that close their branches and without saving jobs are nationalized and continue to produce the necessary products. Unemployment is not expected in Russia. On the contrary, new enterprises are being created (import substitution), and benefits are being introduced for working Russian enterprises.
Once again, don't worry about Russia. Everything will be okay.
If the Russians don't worry, then you don't need to worry about them.

There is no unemployment. McDonalds will pay the salaries to the employees, although they do not work. This is a decision from CEO from McDonalds. Same for other companies.

Severance is a common thing in the west. McDonalds will pay only a couple of months. After that, it’s over.
Besides, McDonald’s is just one company out of many.

It is one company, but the one that has most employees compared to others. So far VW and BMW will continue payments, German socializm in practice. For others do not know, but assume they will continue the payments as well. Overall, I do not beleive the companies have left forever. This is business, and Russia is a big market. If they do not return their place will be quickly occupied by Chinese and Indian companies.

It depends on whether Ukraine survives. Some sanctions are going to be hard to reverse and the bad image Russia received abroad will prevent many companies from coming back out of fear of getting bad PR on social media.

You don't understand a bit how sanctions work. Everything that has left Russia does not affect the average Russian in any way. Moreover, the departure of McDonald's) You are guided by the patterns of 30 years ago, when no one knew what a hamburger was. The biggest sanctioners are not American or European companies, but Russians. I can explain why, but it's unlikely to reach you

I hope Ukraine survives and will not depend neither on Russia, nor on the West. True, the image of Russia is bad now, but what would be futher will depend on who runs the country after Putin. I see no reasons why all the companies would not come back, provided the political situation in Russia is changed.

Russians experienced highest inflation since the 90s in the last couple of weeks.
The effects of the Russian boycott will become much more apparent when Russian middle class analysts, and other corporate employees, cannot find replacement jobs and descend into poverty. The less these people spend, the less money circulates in the economy. The more people fight for an open position, the less the employer will be willing to pay.

Russian economy already received fatal blows. It takes a bit of time for people to realize that they have a grave unemployment problem.
