I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but I'm new here.
I just want to see where this board leans.

This is a simple poll, and you can obviously discuss freely.
But a binary option is being presented here.
(well, plus the option to opt out)

I like my Congressman, Dana Rohrabacher.
He has been a "hands across the aisle" type.

California Governor, Gavin - ya gotta be kidding.
    So it's the GOP.

By the blessings of the open primary, it is Democrat vs Democrat for the senate.
Voting for the Latino man instead of Feinstein. He trounced her in the primary but, no GOP came close as GOP Cox did for governor.

After that it is vote for the straight, white man regardless.

I'm very happy to see the results of this poll so far.
And after reading through this forum quite a bit for the last few days, even more so.

It seems this is a place with people who have a good grasp on reality.
That is so refreshing, I have to say.

I really dislike my Congressman, Scott Taylor, and I was going to vote for the Democrat Elaine Luria who I believe is the better candidate. Then comes all this crap over Kavanaugh. By the time it was over , you knew, it was a political hit job by the Democrats. Kavanaugh gets confirmed anyway and you say "all is ok.' Then the voices of unreason come out and talk of impeaching Kavanaugh and Trump should he Democrats win the House. This puts me in a tight spot as now I must select between a unethical Republican and a seemingly honest lady who if she should win might swing the House to a bunch of uncouth Democrats. I will hold my nose and vote for Taylor and hope the House stays Republican. In 2020 I will have another shot at dumping Taylor.

The most anti-American thing an American can do is vote for a globalist Democrats who hates them, to govern them. Your Republican might suck, but electing globalist Who send the palestinians' 220 million dollars for humanitarian aid rather than aid humans in America, is worth it. Hold your nose

IF democrats come to power they will do everything they can to destroy the country and reverse the progress trump has made.

Just like Bill Maher, Democrats are hoping for a recession and will do everything they can to bring one to us Just so they Can blame it on trump.

I understand. I myself am voting a straight Republican ticket, even knowing that some few Dem Party candidates deserve to win. But until the collective Dem Party leadership turns their back on pioneered Marxist style political tactics I am voting for the party of patriots and ethical standards instead . . . even if I have to hold my nose sometimes while doing so.

Although I quit the Republican Party last year after being an consistent member of it all my long adult life, I'll be voting straight-Republican this time, for the first time!

I terminated my membership in the Republican Party after becoming completely disgusted with all the RINO's who had turned it into a "Democrat-lite" Party, with more and more economic idiocy, liberalism, and irresponsibility creeping into it.

But, now that the Democrat Party has become so thoroughly radicalized, and so violently opposed to everything that really did 'make America great' throughout our history, I won't vote for ANY Democrat. There may be some few "good" Democrats left out there, but they've all but been completely replaced by the kind of creatures we see so much of today. The kind who would enthusiastically DESTROY a person for no justifiable reason at all -- without any proof, or evidence. We do not (NOT) need or want this kind of NAZI Party increasing its power in the United States!

[IMG]. "Proof?! We don't need no stinkin' PROOF...!" :democrat:

As an Independent I will be voting for what is best for We the People in November.

That means breaking up the GOP hegemony of power over our nation.

We cannot afford to continue to have ONE PARTY RULE in America especially given the current support for the odious policies that are causing so much harm to We the People.

Gridlock will bring us a short respite from the ongoing GOP OPPRESSION.

With any luck the Bernie Sanders inspired Progressives will succeed this November and again in 2020. They are the only hope this nation still has left to change course and pull back from the brink of disaster.

socialism is not what it's 'cracked up' to be, it's actually totalitarianism, yes... free health care, free education & even free toilet paper if the line's not too long... don't be fooled by the hype, it'll cost you your every freedom...

    Who is advocating for "socialism"?

    Progressives want Social Democracy instead.

There is a massive difference between those two concepts.

"so will they ^"...? :confusion: . So, what are you saying? That ANTIFA and radical Democrats like them will "vote straight-Republican"...? You really don't make any sense at all. Try making an effort to construct complete English sentences... or, if you prefer, we could shift to German, but sentences in that language rely on even more precise detail.... Hey, how about hieroglyphs?! :spin:

    Wow!!!

The results of your poll so far are interesting indeed!

I would not have guessed that the Democrats here on this forum are that demoralized and discouraged.

Same here. It's not so much that I'm voting for Republicans, but that I'm voting against the Democrats.

That is such an extreme distortion of reality that it hurts my eyes just to read it. Socialism is socialism, no matter how it is imposed upon the people.

    Agree.
Looks like the Democrats on Board are in hiding.
    Or
Maybe a Hillary write in option should have been offered.

Your self inflicted pain is not my problem.

Socialism is NOT social democracy and no amount of denial is going to alter that FACT!

Did they just get a new boatload of printing presses ? The only way they can pay for all the wonderful FREE stuff they wish to bestow upon the masses is by printing funny money.

You do know we already have a system like that. It's called Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. You throw in Welfare, mandatory Union dues, corporate subsidize business, farm aid and many other government and state sponsored programs that redistribute wealth in our country. What else are you looking for?

So according to you all of those thriving social democracies in the EU are just "printing funny money"?

First of all what do you consider progressive? I'm very interested in what your policies are and how will they effect me and my country. At what price does the Nation have to sacrifice to implement a Progressive agenda? Can you give me some examples where your agenda works in other countries.
