Matter of fact 'Yes". Have you been paying attention to their economies? Have you not seen the strikes and protests in the streets lately. Unemployment is not stepping stone to success.
So there are no strikes and protests in the Capitalist Utopia of America? Everyone in America has a job that pays a LIVING WAGE with BENEFITS and college is affordable and life is perfect under your beloved BLOTUS? Cherrypicking exposes the fallacy of your position.
It is the nefarious Republican/Liberatrian fiscal malfeasance policies that have caused considerable HARM over the last 3 decades to me and my fellow Americans which is WHY the Progressive policies are picking up so much traction amongst the electorate. We are no longer going to tolerate sacrificing our own future and that of our children and grandchildren for the EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT of the WEALTHY! History has demonstrated that only when ALL AMERICANS are doing well that our nation thrives. That happened after WW2 and during the late 1990's. When ONLY the Wall Street Casino Bosses and their cronies benefit then We the People are the one paying a very steep price. We are not going to continue to provide Corporate Welfare and Welfare for the Wealthy in the form of MASSIVE GOP TAX CUTS any longer. This nation was formed for the benefit of We the People. Progressives are We the People and are taking back what is ours.
3.7 % unemployment in the USA vs 16% unemployment overseas is quite q bit different. We work 40 hr weeks because we have the work to do vs their 35 hour weeks. Our standard of living is among the highest in the world. If you don't have a job with a fair wage it means your not educated enough. Last I looked education was free for all through the 12th grade. Community college is affordable to all who are willing to work and pay the lower cost of an education. We have many snowflakes who have flooded our higher institutions of learning and are being paid good money by the George Soros of the world to go out and protest against democracy. Please point me to part of our Constitution that says you are entitled to a job with benefits and a college education.
I am voting Republican. The previous presidential election I voted for Gary because I just didn't feel right about Trump. I now have gained more support from him, but I still don't in any way think he's perfect. My vote for Trump in 2020 will be 80% to stop the radicalized left, 20% because of support for Trump. It's a defensive vote and I think many will do the same.
Cherrypicking compounded with fallacious comparisons? The USA has a far LOWER employment participation rate which negates your comparison to the EU. Working longer hours just means that you are being paid LESS PER HOUR for essentially the same amount of work. Then you spout off about some mythical standard of living that FAILS to withstand scrutiny. The EU actually has a HIGHER standard of living. https://www.eoionline.org/blog/myth-6-europe-has-a-lower-standard-of-living-than-the-united-states/ Finally the desperation emerged with spurious name calling rendering the rest of the blather null and void!
I'm mainly voting Republican, but I'm voting Democrat in a few local races. The Republican candidates in those races are unacceptable to me.
They sure are..... I hope that this is indicative of what happens at the actual polling stations....... Mid-term elections This poll will close on Nov 6, 2018 at 2:48 PM. * Voting Republican 26 vote(s) 81.3% Voting Democrat 1 vote(s) 3.1% Not voting or voting other 5 vote(s) 15.6%
